Day 3! I got busy yesterday so I posted it kind of late. I plan on posting this every day to maximize it's visibility in hopes to reach our first goal. Check it out! Share it! Mr. Creepy Pasta (with 1.68 million YouTube subscribers) will also be sharing the campaign, as well as posting the finished product on his YouTube channel. Original post below... Today, I'm launching the fundraiser campaign for a Pilot episode I'm filming called MADWHIP. Madwhip is based off the NoSleep Subreddit series My Name is Lily Madwhip by William Dalphin. What began as a single story blossomed into a universe full of imaginative and complex characters struggling against each other, all seen through the eyes of a young girl. Madwhip is a supernatural/sci-fi horror epic ordained by God and driven by consequences. This story has been heard by over 100,000 people. I personally fell in love with it, and I believe this series could rival the popularity of Stranger Things. And that's exactly what I plan to do. For this pilot, I've teamed up with the KING of Creepy Pasta storytelling, MrCreepyPasta! It was through MrCreepyPasta’s YouTube/podcasts that I discovered and fell in love with the story of Lily Madwhip. Along with MrCreepyPasta, we’ve also partnered with the voice of Lily herself, Michelle Renee. With their help, we will meticulously cast the lead role of Lily, as well as other major supporting characters that are important to the story. The finished product will also be posted to MrCreepyPasta’s YouTube channel. This will help us get as much attention to the Pilot as we can while we submit the pilot through the festival market. The fundraiser is imperative. If the fundraiser does not succeed, I will still proceed with the pilot, but I won't be able to pay my cast and crew like I wish too. Everyone involved is aware of this. We're all working toward the same goal. I will also not be able to seek things like CGI, which is important to bring to life the full vision of the pilot episode. However, my cast and crew come before CGI. Please consider visiting the fundraiser! Consider contributing, if you can, and please share! My dream is to shatter Hollywood's mold and hold on the industry, and open the flood gates for new voices and stories. We can do that together.
