I could totally relate to the concept of "The Art of Handling a Plan B" in UX design. As many of you know, User Experience Design is where Business Viability, Technical Feasibility, and Desired Design intersect. When we ideate solutions, we often face pushback from the business side regarding viability(budget, resources) or from the technical team about feasibility(coding barriers, time). So, what do you do in this scenario? A good UX designer should handle such situations by having a Plan B ready. What does this mean? It means finding a solution that respects constraints without compromising on user experience. Stand firm for the users and be their advocate because if you don’t, no one else will. However, remember that the product still needs to be delivered. A UX practitioner should understand the balance and practicality of the situation, striving to do the best they can to solve the problem for the user. Just a thought!
