🚨Why Weak Passwords Are Still a Threat to Your Business🚨 NordPass’s latest report on the most commonly used passwords is a wake-up call. The same risky habits seen in personal accounts are being mirrored in corporate environments. The list is almost identical year after year, showing that too many still rely on easily guessable passwords—even when safeguarding organisational data. This highlights a critical issue: quarterly emails or onboarding guidance on password security just aren’t cutting it. Passwords are your first line of defence. It’s time to move beyond one-time awareness efforts and embed cyber security into everyday workplace culture. Regular training, meaningful conversations, and a focus on forming better habits can make all the difference. Your data—and the trust of those you work with—depends on it. How does your organisation tackle password security? Look out for our upcoming post, where we’ll share practical solutions to strengthen password security in your business. #CyberSecurity #PasswordSecurity #DataProtection #CyberAwareness #RiskManagement #OrganisationalSecurity

A personal plea: If you or any of your team are still using any of these listed passwords, it’s time for an urgent change. Weak passwords are one of the biggest risks to your business, and relying on outdated security measures simply isn’t enough. Please make this a top priority, both now and as we head into the new year. Have that conversation with your team—I can’t stress it enough. Some people are still not improving their passwords, and that’s a serious concern. I don’t want to sound preachy, but please make password security a priority and embed it into your company’s culture. Your data—and trust—depend on it. #PasswordSecurity #CyberSecurity #DataProtection #CyberAwareness #RiskManagement #NewYearNewSecurity #BusinessSecurity #WorkplaceCulture #StaySecure #SecurityFirst
