Legion CEO and founder Sanish Mondkar wasn't looking for a startup idea--he was just having casual conversations with retail workers. After a few of those, he noticed the problems retail workers and managers were facing, and he decided to build Legion WFM to help solve them. Don’t miss the latest episode of The Product Market Fit Show, where he discusses his story, including: • Why listening with an open mind is a common way to identify customer problems • Why providing clear and immediate ROI is a must-have for enterprise customers • How to perfect your product with design partners that are heavily invested • How to raise a Series A without meaningful revenue You can listen to the full podcast here: https://lnkd.in/eG2CAn46

I had a great conversation with Alexa von Tobel on her podcast, How to Test a Hypothesis. We covered everything from the early days of Shipt to the vision behind Landing – and my mindset behind building and scaling companies. When Alexa asked about testing new ideas, I shared my goal every time I have one: Get people to pay me for it before I build it. If you’re an entrepreneur or just curious about building businesses, you’ll want to check this out. Listen to the full podcast here: https://lnkd.in/eeyZTPAi

Great to chat with Brad Moran about his journey in startups and the success of CitrusAd. CitrusAd is a software company that provides retailers with a system for merchants to compete for ad space on their websites. Starting in 2017, Brad Moran grew the business quickly before it was sold in 2021 for $205 million. Throughout the episode, Brad talks about the harsh reality of building a startup. I was fascinated by his insights on this often ignored aspect of business. He talks about the personal sacrifices founders have to make in order to succeed and whether it is worth it. He also talks about the importance of raising capital early, not just for the money but also for the ability to validate your ideas before committing too much time to it. If you enjoy this episode, feel free to leave a 5-star review and share with family and friends. #portfoliomanagement #familyoffice #investing #startups #vc

Excited to share this new episode featuring Co-founder of Outing, Andrew Florial. Outing is changing how we discover and organize private events. From his humble beginnings at companies like Bloomberg and Airbnb, Andrew developed a strong passion to bring people together and help them make cherishable memories. 🚀So when you listen to this episode we don’t discuss how to chase money to become wealthy but rather how to build wealth by doing good for others. 💰 To build wealth most people think they have to chase money but that’s wrong — Money is a by-product of excellence. 🏃🏾♂️We don’t discuss ‘fast-success’ but rather sustainable success — Legacy. Build with bright minds so that you can go far not just fast. 🚨If you want to unlock all these keys, tap the link in bio to listen or watch wherever you find your podcasts #podcast #gwp #wealth #startup #investing #money #business

Worked on my first podcast with Lakshmi Chaudhry & Chitra Raghavan - they talk about how important it is to have an understanding between founders before you Start up. Not many founders take time to have an understanding between themselves before they raise capital. A founders' agreement is extremely important to make sure you navigate disagreements in the future. One of the coolest things about our profession is that there is always something new to learn. Also, we all know how crucial it is to have a positive and motivational influence in our lives. I recently discovered a fantastic podcast called The Sweaty Startup by Nick Huber, thanks to a recommendation from Chayton Farlee. What I love about this podcast is that it's full of real, practical advice delivered in bite-sized episodes - most are only about 6 minutes long! There's no pausing and rewinding the episode because I missed something. It's also so motivational to me. I enjoy hearing about Nick Huber's down-to-earth stories of how he built his empire - no gimmicks, just sweating and grinding. A couple of my favorite quotes from the podcast are: ➡ "True success is only achieved when you get out of your comfort zone." ➡ "Stress is relative." ➡ "Add value first - every interaction should provide value." That last one is something that I repeat over and over in my head when I make decisions in my business. Continuous added value for your clients is what makes them stick around! If you're looking for a quick dose of inspiration or practical business advice, give it a listen (https://lnkd.in/gc9XGQkf) and let me know what you think! #PodcastRecommendation #AccountingProfessionals #AccountingandAccountants #ContinuousLearning #BusinessAdvice #SweatyStartup
