Our Program Manager, Serena Vire, Everlaw Pro, Relativity Expert, discusses her experience moderating a panel at the Everlaw Summit 2024. 💎 "I was honored to have been given the opportunity to moderate one of the sessions at the Everlaw Summit called “Executing on GenAI Throughout the Firm”. Panelists Julie Brown, Jeff McKenna, Steve Delaney, and Andrew Fiorelli all gave incredible feedback as they shared their experience with how they are currently implementing the use of Everlaw’s GenAI. One point taken with regards to the use of GenAI and balancing the need for innovation with the caution required to ensure accuracy and compliance in legal process is to understand the tool to get the full picture as to how the tool works. The panelists also noted that we must realize that GenAI outputs with errors are to be expected and that we can’t assume that GenAI will do the work for you. While the use of GenAI in Everlaw can tremendously help to cut down the time it takes to gather important about documents in your case, we still need to verify the results to ensure accuracy. Another piece of advice one of the panelists gave when asked how other law firms are looking to integrate GenAI into their workflows is to try to benchmark your firm’s output so that you can learn how AI is impacting your efficiencies. Overall, it was a great session with a lot of impactful perspectives on how they are executing on GenAI throughout their firms." #ediscovery #legalservices #legaltech #everlawsummit

Our firm has been recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Relativity Fest Innovation Awards. The Innovation Award for Best Innovation celebrates the curious change makers who are making an impact by building custom solutions, empowering people and forging new paths to improve the legal industry. It is fantastic to be recognised as an in-house or law firm team that uses the Relativity platform in creative ways to solve unique client challenges. When using Relativity’s applications and integrations for large scale legal reviews and document productions, it is critical that clients and legal teams can track the consistency across coding and redaction workflows in real time. Our app development team have developed HSF Proof, a custom application in RelativityOne, that allows lawyers to seamlessly and quickly identify redaction discrepancies between similar documents. This app allows our legal teams to do more high value work in a short space of time, typically in the lead up to document production deadlines, which is enormously beneficial to our clients. The Relativity Fest Innovation Awards continue to celebrate both individual contributions to the e-discovery community as well as the new and innovative solutions for the Relativity Community that help lawyers and litigation support experts solve complex or unique issues inside and outside of e-discovery. We wish all the finalists the best of luck, when the awards are announced at Relativity Fest in Chicago from 25 – 27 September. https://lnkd.in/dB7QPEYr #relativityfest #innovationaward #relativityone

Reflecting a bit on the fantastic LegalTech Hub Innovation conference in NYC this week. One day, but what a day. I was thinking of the Why's. Why did I as attendee from litigation firm find it fulfilling? Why should solution providers make these events a priority? I made more new contacts than at behemoth events - don't get me wrong, the big events are fun, huge variety of topics and solution providers. But I'm now a big fan of these smaller events. I hope industry generally considers more like this. This one in particular was stellar, because: -Showcased selected, relevant to topic, providers that honed in on services that need more attention and to develop relationships. -Real solutions, concrete "here's how we did it" presentations from crazy smart and engaging experts. -Topics flowed from general to very specific. Absorbable-size presentations. Avoided platitudes and generalizations. -Audience: we self-curated, and therefore we all felt connected and it showed in our conversations at breaks - many to continue in coming weeks. -Affordable! These events are a ton of work to put on, but boy are they effective. My hat is off to everyone at LegalTech Hub and to all the fantastic speakers and special shoutout to the solution providers! #legaltechhub
