For #EarthDay I wanted to share a picture that I took last week at the RHS Urban Show. This reminds us, as the weather warms up, that we all have a responsibility to provide water for wildlife in our spaces at home and at work. So many residential areas and city-scapes have zero water available in hot, dry weather, so wildlife cannot thrive alongside humans. This picture shows how simple it can be to use an old bin-lid and some pebbles to create an oasis for the creatures near your home or your office. If you capture rainwater, you can top this up every day to create a reliable water supply. So for your #EarthDay pledge, why not create a watering hole for wildlife?
