OKR's work... but too many think they are KPI's - they are not. If your business wants to focus on short term, audacious objectives, you need OKR's. If you want your team to focus and say "no" to things that don't matter, you need OKR's. If you want to measure what really matters, you need OKR's. OKR's have helped my businesses grow YoY without fail - they are not fail proof, but they ensure you have your eye on what matters and will hardly ever let you down if you sprint quarterly and measure weekly! ❌🎯 If your KPIs are not driving results, you might be measuring the wrong things. I’ve been there, and so have many other leaders. It’s OKAY to make this mistake. What does it look like when your KPIs aren't working? Here's what you should look out for: 🔍 Misalignment with strategic goals ↳ ex: Tracking the number of calls made instead of actual sales closed. 🔍 Measuring tasks, not results ↳ ex: Counting sales calls without tracking closed deals. 🔍 Non-actionable data ↳ ex: Monitoring “number of meetings” instead of closed deals. Here's where to start: 1️⃣ Review your strategic goals and make them clear 2️⃣ Make sure your KPIs actually support these goals 3️⃣ Pick metrics that show progress 4️⃣ Keep an eye on your KPIs and adjust as needed Sometimes the best way forward is to take a step back and reassess your goals. #KPIOptimization #BusinessGrowth #Leadership
