I am reminded every day why the work of Women in Automotive Technology (WAT) is important. I founded Women in Auto Tech to showcase women subject matter experts, raise their profiles, and let their voices be heard.
Women are in trucking, work at truck OEMs, and are fully capable of moderating a truck panel. The automotive industry needs to showcase female subject matter experts, increase the number of female executives, and at the absolute very least, put an end to the "manel".
I am calling out disparities and working towards creating a more diverse industry. Join me. Join Women in Automotive Technology (WAT)#DiversityandInclusion
Women change the game ++ Women are shaping the future - not only in the Software Development Center at Audi, but in the entire IT industry.
At the SHINE Female Business Club Summit in Munich on International Women's Day, Daniela Kobel, Ambassador of the Software Development Center, emphasized the crucial role that women in IT and technology play in shaping the mobility of tomorrow.
Networking, sharing inspiration and empowering each other, this is how we pave the way for progress and for more diversity and equality.

Exciting News! I've been selected as a Judge for this year's Reuters Events: Automotive D.R.I.V.E in the category of Empowering Women!
This recognition is a testament to the incredible work being done in the automotive industry to uplift and support women.
Why is this important?
In a time when the automotive sector is evolving rapidly, empowering women is not just a trend—it's essential for innovation and growth.
I’ve witnessed firsthand how diverse perspectives lead to groundbreaking ideas and solutions.
The challenge?
Many still resist change and the integration of diverse voices in decision-making.
Here’s what I believe:
When we empower women in this industry, we create a ripple effect that enhances creativity, productivity, and success.
This year, I am thrilled to return to the panel of esteemed judges who are passionate about driving empowerment even further in our sector.
Why This Matters:
Empowering women is crucial for the future of the automotive industry.
Celebrating our differences and leveraging our unique perspectives makes for a more powerful and innovative sector.

Would you consider a career in the automotive industry? 🤔
Insights from our latest research at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts reveal that 1 in 3 women would never consider joining the automotive industry, compared to 80% of men! This gap highlights the unique barriers women face in a traditionally male-dominated field.
After 15+ years working in the industry, I've seen some progress, but there’s no denying we still have work to do. In 2023, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) took a strong step forward with its ‘30 by 30’ initiative, aiming for women to make up 30% of the auto workforce by 2030 – a bold goal considering we’re currently under 20%.
So, how do we bridge the gap? Building an inclusive and supportive environment is key, with key players like Broker News advocating for greater representation with its inspiring Women in Broking series.
A huge thank you to Ralph Morton and Broker News for featuring our research and helping us to amplify this conversation. 🙌

🔥Driving diversity: The rise of female chauffeurs🔥
The chauffeur industry has typically been dominated by men, but the tides are turning and there are now more women behind the wheel than ever.
It’s an industry that has come leaps and bounds when it comes to inclusivity, but there is still some work to do.
