💡 Apprenticeships can be a great way to develop future talent in your business. Let me tell you why....... 1. Bridge Skill Gaps - You can find an apprenticeship scheme which will provide the right technical skills training and support your apprentice's learning with RELEVANT on the job training 2. Budget-Friendly : With funding and grants, it is a cost effective way for small businesses to employ team members 3. Learning Culture: Everyone in your business can get involved in supporting the development of an apprentice by sharing their knowledge and expertise. It also creates a great opportunity for future leaders to start developing their skills through mentoring. 4. Loyalty: 90% of apprentices continue in their roles post-qualification, forming a core part of your team. 5. Innovation: Fresh perspectives can lead to breakthroughs and improvements that are much harder to achieve when you repeatedly recruit from the same pools of candidates. At PMP we offer apprenticeships to create development pathways for new and existing team members, so we know first hand how valuation they are. If you'd like some advice on how to introduce apprenticeships in your business, or maybe you'd like to ask about joining us as an apprentice, comment below or send me a DM. 🙂 #personaldevelopment #founder #smallbusiness

No matter your field, you must consider yourself a builder, using actual materials and ideas. You are producing something tangible in your work, Something that affects people in some direct, concrete way. To build anything well- a house, a political organization, a business, or a film- you must understand the building process and possess the necessary skills. You are a craftsman learning to adhere to the highest standards. For all of this, you must go through a careful apprenticeship. You cannot make anything worthwhile in this world without first developing and transforming yourself. #observation #acquisition #experimentation

Something I hear when discussing with managers the Development Programmes we offer via the apprenticeship scheme is a minimum of 12 months is too long to commit - and here’s my response.... If you want your Recruiter or Sales Exec or Manager to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviour to work at an optimum best practice level – consistently, can you expect that in less than 12 months? And if you are trying to achieve that on your own is it actually going to take longer to achieve that consistency in performance? #development#skills#performance

Why should Improvement Apprenticeships be important to you? 🤔 People are the heart of any company, and developing your own staff is more sure and less risky than constant recruitment. Developing your own talent is more likely to increase retention and loyalty, as well as building long term deep knowledge and higher level apprenticeships allow you to upskill your own personnel, applying all the knowledge and skills into everyday factory operations, through training funded through the government apprenticeship levy. It’s not just the transfer of knowledge - but the application of skills and behaviours that counts. Ready to explore the secrets behind continuous improvement and innovation? Sign up for a FREE introductory webinar on what benefits you can reap from the Lean Belt Improvement Apprenticeship scheme, today! 🤩 To sign up for a webinar on any date of your choice, for the rest of the year completely free, head to our landing page: 🌐: https://lnkd.in/eRDVYx6M #Manufacturing #Factory #Improvement #Growth #Apprenticeships #Webinar #Lean #Training #Introduction #LeanSixSigma #FMCG
