Recently, I’ve shared about the value of hosting and participating in events for building visibility. But there’s another strategy that’s often even more effective—especially in close-knit communities like Summit County: Partnerships! Partnering with other small businesses can help you broaden your reach, connect you with new audiences, and foster a stronger local network. Whether it’s co-hosting an event, offering cross-promotions, or creating joint content, working together allows businesses to grow while supporting each other. Partnerships also help to build trust and loyalty in the community! If you could team up with any small business in our community, who would it be? #lmrconsulting #smallbusinessgoals #smallbusinessmarketing #smallbusinesspartner #smallbusinesspartnerships #coloradosmallbusiness #smallbusinessmarketingstrategy

Supporting our sector's alignment toward affinity over affluence doesn't mean we leave money on the table; it just means we can be more intentional about managing it. Nothing exemplifies this more than event sponsorships. To accompany a new article I wrote for Neon One, I also worked with Chris Strub on a video explainer that walks through 10 ways you can optimize your event sponsorship management by leveraging digital payment forms. "But Tim, some of my sponsors refuse to pay online!" I GOT YOU COVERED, MY FRIENDS. Approaches like the ones I outline here can revolutionize the relationship-building you have with your community of generosity, so let's begin to dream bigger about our data. Let me know what you think and I'll also drop the longer form article in the comments.
