𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀. I've been harassed by neighbors who didn’t get it, judged for being a medical patient by those who refuse to understand, and bombarded with naïve, exhausting questions for over 8 years now. 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙄’𝙢 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮. 💥 I chose cannabis because I saw the chance to build the fulfilling career I always dreamed of while genuinely helping people who need it. 💥I do it because I know—with every ounce of my being—that I’m helping make the world a better place with less pain and suffering. 💥How many people can honestly say they’re excited to wake up for work every day? ------------ Not many. 2wSame. Love being a mom working in cannabis. The “looks/whispers” are amazing. It doesn’t bother me as much anymore. It does scare me that my kids will be judged in some way. It’s hilarious to watch the same parents with their Stanley cups full of booze at games. We can’t live our lives for other people. We are working in an industry that benefits people in many ways.
