I totally agree with this, post covid so much has changed, a candidate's seriousness goes by how neatly they are dressed and how decked up are they with their resume neatly presented. post covid: people applying for jobs have become so desirous about these little things, if they are giving online interviews 1. they will not switch on the camera unless told to do so. 2. Resume not properly presented. when you give interviews online you should always follow certain decorums 1. be a minute earlier than your interviewers 2. send out your resume before joining the interview by mailing your resume to concerned manager who is about to take your interview. 3. be neat and tidy. 4. keep the camera on at all cost even if you are not told to do so. these things go a long way in creating an impression even if your interview does not go too well at least the manager would know that the candidate was serious about the opportunity and always ask questions to the hiring manager.
