True leadership is fundamentally about uplifting others rather than belittling or creating feelings of inferiority in your team. Great leaders focus on empowering and inspiring their teams to realize and achieve remarkable goals. They take the time to deeply understand each team member's unique strengths and weaknesses, creating a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged. Leadership is teaching the way, not just showing the way. Leadership is giving the right tools to be successful, not hiding tools. Leadership is giving the opportunity to lead, with trust, not reminding constantly who is the boss. Leadership is making somebody else successful for a future leader.
Insightful. Learn from the Experience: Even bad leaders can teach you something. Reflect on what not to do and use that as a guide for shaping your own leadership style. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. In short, don’t wait for a perfect leader to show you how to lead. Be the leader you were meant to be, regardless of your environment. You might just inspire those around you to do the same!
Our CEO was the type of leader that was all about making people better and building up his teams. We will miss him tremendously.
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” I did a poll last week asking my network, What skills are you currently working on? Here’s what they told me 45%: Leadership & Management 30%: Creativity & Problem-Solving 15%: Technical Skills 10%: Communication It’s no surprise that leadership, along with creativity and problem-solving, topped the list. Leading and managing can be incredibly challenging, especially when you're tasked with hitting tough operational goals, quotas, or deliverables. But here's the thing, leadership is not defined by your title, your salary, or your office. It’s about how you show up for your team. Leadership is about serving others, building trust, and creating a culture where people feel supported and valued. Whether you're leading a team you’ve worked alongside for years or stepping into a new role, remember that leadership is about guiding others with integrity and empathy, not just focusing on numbers or personal gain. #LeadershipDevelopment #LeadershipFirst #executivesandmanagement
I agree!
Leadership is about empowering others, inspiring them to reach their full potential, and fostering an environment where people feel valued and respected. A great leader focuses on uplifting others, offering support, guidance, and encouragement. Rather than tearing people down, effective leadership involves providing constructive feedback, promoting growth, and creating a sense of trust and collaboration. Leadership is also about leading by example—demonstrating integrity, empathy, and a strong work ethic. By inspiring confidence and motivating people to believe in themselves, a true leader helps individuals and teams flourish, ensuring success is achieved collectively.🌟🌟🌟
Leadership is a responsibility to take ‘care’ of your employees. No ego, no drama, no playing favouritism and not letting under-performing employees getting away with not doing their part…just to name a few incidents that I’ve had to work with. If a team doesn’t have strong leadership, expect the boat to sail in very troubling waters!
The greatest act of true leaders is MENTORING. ..#activelyguide ...#developothers
I really liked reading this post. I came to realized that part of our focus should be on inspiring others. To inspire others, though, we need to be inspired ourselves. It is impossible to help others on a matter we are not already good or doing ourselves.

3wI couldn't agree more. Developing excellent relationships is key. I recently was consulted by a colleague whose brand new supervisor belittled her in front of her work peers, charging her for a n a t she did not commit. I am not sure if the damage can be easily undone. It is so easy to hurt or turn people off.
