After a fruitful week in Milton Keynes in the heart of F1 racing teams, we are thrilled to share with you our latest video "Motorsport Meets Space Engineering!" 🚀 👉 🏎 This video is the result of over two years of collaboration between OPTRION, V2i s.a. and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe within the frame of a European Space Agency - ESA technolgy transfer program. During this time we worked at transfering ST (#shearography) and #EMA (Experimental Modal Analysis) from the aerospace sector and adapt these techniques to the specific requirements of high level #motorsport. By the end of the project we had demonstrated the proof of concept : ST & EMA provide useful insight to the mafunacturing of complex aerodynamic & structural composite parts and can also be used to monitor the health of these parts over their lifespan! 👏 We would like to thank our partners in this adventure V2i s.a., TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe, European Space Agency - ESA and Verhaert | Masters in Innovation.
