One of my passions is inspiring more women to pursue careers in high-tech, especially in leadership roles. This week, we launched the GE HealthCare Israel Women’s Forum with a fun and vibrant event. I was honored to participate in a panel alongside four incredible leaders, where we shared our journeys and experiences.
While the percentage of women in our company reflects the industry average, we are determined to close the gap and reach 51%. Together, we’ll keep pushing boundaries, breaking barriers, and inspiring more women to join us in shaping the future of high-tech.

Congrats, Laurence! Love seeing you lead the way for diversity in high-tech (and if you need help closing the gap, I’m always happy to help you hire more amazing women ☺️)
Yet another fantastic evening spent in the company of inspiring women.
Thank you, Jasmine & MC, for bringing Women of SaaS to Copenhagen, and thank you to Relesys for hosting. It was a great experience to connect with women facing relatable challenges and to hear from truly inspirational speakers.
My key takeaways:
⭐ Be Visible and Vocal: Don’t underestimate the power of sharing your story and expertise.
⭐ Seek Out Mentors and Allies: Find mentors who can guide your journey and advocates who will champion you in critical career moments.
⭐ Don’t Shy Away from Leadership: Advocate for yourself and pursue leadership opportunities if that’s what you desire.

Eva, I really appreciated your insights about the challenges and opportunities women face in advancing their careers. As someone who strongly believes in the power and necessity of diversity, I think your points about the progress we've made, and the resilience still required, are spot on.
I’ve seen firsthand how diverse leadership fosters innovation, collaboration, and stronger decision-making, and it’s encouraging to see society and organizations increasingly invest in programs that support female leaders. At the same time, it’s clear that there’s still work to do to create environments where everyone feels empowered to thrive, regardless of gender.
Thank you for shedding light on this important topic. It’s a reminder for all of us, especially men, to be active allies, whether that means amplifying diverse voices, challenging biases, or supporting policies that promote equity. Together, we can keep nurturing diversity and building workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed

Last week, I had the great pleasure of attending a panel discussion alongside Suzanne Innes-Stubb and SEB leader Niina Aikas at Women's Career Society event for Hanken and Aalto University students. The panel was hosted really well by Bessy Sederlöf.
One particularly thought-provoking question from the audience was about the challenges women face in advancing their careers, especially in industries where leadership roles have traditionally been held by men.
In response, I reiterated that in today's world, it is easier than ever for women to ascend to the highest ranks of leadership. There is a growing societal push and numerous leadership programs designed to support female careers, fostering more diverse leadership teams and boards overall.
However, like all of us panelists agreed, it is important to acknowledge that the journey still demands a great deal of hard work, determination, and persistence. It requires developing a suitably tough, or 'teflon' skin to ignore discouraging comments and the persistence to repeatedly voice your viewpoints if they are initially disregarded. (We also all agreed, that luck is a key ingredient in career, and in life overall…)
Thank you for the opportunity to attend this event. Personally I feel a great sense of duty to support young professionals in their career, as I’ve received so much support in my own career from various leaders over the years (both male and female) - I hope you do too?

I'm currently doing some research into female tech leaders and I'd love your support. The survey takes about 20 mins but it will be a very well spent 20 mins (I promise) . The details are here:
Share your experiences, and help shape a brighter future for female tech leaders 🗣️
In 2024, just 10.9% of leadership roles in tech are held by women. We want to explore the nuances of why this is, and - based on the lived experiences of that 10.9% - build a more inclusive route into leadership.
This is your opportunity to share your successes, your frustrations, and the things you wish you knew earlier; to help support, attract and retain the female leaders of tomorrow.

🌟 Breaking Barriers: Empowering Female Leadership 🌟
Thanks to the organisation of #WomenofTUM event on Breaking Barriers & Building Bridges this Wednesday, we celebrated together on female leadership and empowerment. With a full house of women audience, panelists Sarah Fleischer, Silke Maurer and Angelika Schnieke shed light on what it takes to be a good leader of both your team and yourself. Highlighting the importance of embracing failures, manifesting authenticity, courage and empathy in the leadership journeys. ☺️
One of the most remarkable quotes of the night is, the biggest challenge lies within yourself, so why not step out of the comfort zone, be open for opportunities and be adaptive. Don’t involve others in your self-doubt, if you’re interested in doing something, just be brave enough to seize the opportunity. I found it particularly relevant as an introspective person who is sometimes prone to self-criticism.
The networking part acted as a cherry on top of the event, where I was able to meet with both old and new friends, exchanging perspectives and accompanying each other on the journey of professional growth and empowerment. 🥂
As we reflect on these discussions, let’s not underestimate ourselves and the power of community. Let's continue to support and uplift each other, recognising that true leadership lies in within ourselves and by enriching each other. 👭🏻
