While the GROW model may not be a widely known goal-setting model, its unique focus on options and the critical pause it encourages to assess our starting point truly sets it apart. This aspect resonates with me, emphasizing the importance of understanding where we are before mapping out our journey towards our goals. It's this contemplation of our current reality, combined with the exploration of various strategies (Options), that I find particularly powerful. By identifying where we stand and considering multiple pathways, the GROW model aids in pinpointing the most effective first action towards achieving our objectives. I like the emphasis on adaptability and informed decision-making.
