All the world’s greatest have been twiddling their thumbs thinking about a big failure at some point in their lives. In Ranger school, the Ranger creed was recited 3 times daily, memorized by all candidates before meals (or you couldn’t eat). The buddy system was key in mastering it. The creed becomes a way of life and identity, guiding Spec Ops soldiers. That is what makes transitioning out of the service difficult. It brings an "identity crisis," impacting veterans deeply. Moving on requires a shift in mindset. Transferable skills gained include dedication, determination, and sacrifice, essential in forging a new path.
