🎵How to Remove Reverb from Audio with LALAL.AI Echo or reverb might be an intentional effect that adds depth to a song or recording but what if you want to get rid of it? When seeped unintentionally, reverberation may affect the quality of audio recordings and make them sound muddy and less clear. Speech doesn’t sound crisp which makes it difficult to understand podcasts and voice-overs, masking all the nuances the human voice has. Luckily, there’s a solution. Or rather, plenty of them. In this piece, we’ll see how you can remove reverb from an audio recording and get rid of echo completely. 1️⃣Log in to your LALAL.AI account or sign up. 2️⃣Head over to the upload section. Tap the settings icon at the top right corner of the section. 3️⃣Choose either Vocal and Instrumental or Voice and Noise stem. 4️⃣In the drop-down menu, tap the switch next to De-echo vocals/voice to enable the feature. 💡Tip: In the settings menu, you can also set the desired vocal processing level. Note that in rare cases, the Aggressive level may lead to overprocessed vocals. 5️⃣Upload the file. The service supports MP3, OGG, WAV, FLAC, AVI, MP4, MKV, AIFF, AAC formats. 6️⃣Play the preview. If you think the sound still requires more clarity, change the processing level and upload the file again. 7️⃣Click the Process the Entire File button to start the de-echo and de-reverberation process. 8️⃣Once the processing is complete, you can download the separated stems by clicking the download icon. Your files will be saved in the same format and quality as the original file. The download links will also be sent to your email for easy access. That's it! I used to do live audio professionally. I started running sound at my church back in high school and continued to pursue it throughout college and into my early career. I've mixed all sorts of events for all sorts of performers, speakers, musicians, and shows. Those experiences taught me several lessons about what it means to be a professional... mostly from observing different artist mindsets. Here are two... 1) Being a professional isn't about *not* making mistakes, it's about how you recover. Sometimes a professional can cover a mistake so well the audience doesn't even notice it happened. Sometimes, they can own it but still weave it into their show in a way that doesn't diminish their skill level. And other times they just mess up, but they keep going without letting it throw them off their game. 2) Professionals know they have more opportunities coming, and that expresses itself in a few ways... First, any given event isn't sacred. While they give it their all, they don't treat it like it's the only shot they'll get. They know another one is around the corner and they'll have a shot at doing it even better. 3) Professionals know the job is more than what happens on stage. In fact, what happens on stage may be the easy part for them because they already have so many reps under their belt they can almost rely on 'muscle memory' to get that part of the job done. They're more likely to roll with the punches and curveballs that inevitably come, and treat others well in the process. As I moved beyond live audio into business, I've seen the same characteristics apply to successful professionals in other industries and environments. What about you? What are the markers of a true professional?

Hello , Happy Friday everyone :) Mono vs. Stereo in Audio 🎧 In the world of audio, two key terms often come up: Mono and Stereo. But what do they mean, and how do they impact your listening experience? 🔊 Mono (Monophonic Sound): Mono sound comes from a single channel. Whether you listen through one or multiple speakers, all the sound is identical. It's like hearing everything from one direction, making it ideal for podcasts, radio, or any content where clarity is more important than spatial experience. 🎶 Stereo (Stereophonic Sound): Stereo uses two separate channels—left and right. This creates a more immersive experience by spreading sounds across the stereo field. When you listen to music in stereo, you'll notice instruments and effects coming from different directions, mimicking a live performance. In short, Mono is all about simplicity and clarity, while Stereo is about depth and immersion. Choose based on your project’s needs! 🎤🎼 #Audio #Mono #Stereo #SoundEngineering #CentreCircleAudio

There's a right and wrong way to use reference mixes. Whether you're mastering, mixing, recording, producing or even songwriting, it's important to know what you favorite music really sounds like—and how yours compares. If you want to grow in your craft, then understanding what separates your work from others' is absolutely essential. All of the best producers and engineers I know constantly tune their ears—and their tastes—by listening to great records.
