Dyscalculia is a Learning Disability that can impact a student’s ability to understand numbers and math facts. It can manifest in a student as struggling to line up math equations to calculate correctly, swapping numbers, reading and creating graphs or charts and utilizing mental math.  A few accommodations for success: -Ability to use a calculator -Graph paper or guide to line up problems -Complete math equations verbally with a scribe when appropriate -Reduce assignment length Check out the Learning Disabilities Association of American at www.ldaamerica.org to learn more. #learningdisabilityawarness #dyscalculia
