We are thrilled to unveil The Net Positive's Co-Working Space, a visionary project brought to life through stunning renderings by Fabio Panero, Stefano Belleri, and Fabian Johannes Kulterer from the Master in Design – Innovation, Strategy, and Product at Istituto Europeo di Design. This initiative is more than a space; it's a lively ecosystem designed to foster innovation, creativity, and collaboration. Inspired by the functional and adaptable use of storage containers at Kraftwerk Zürich, our design concept introduces movable workspaces that offer unprecedented flexibility. This allows the community to reshape the environment as needed, seamlessly transitioning from individual workspaces to expansive event areas. The Net Positive is envisioned as a multipurpose hub, where the lines between professional and creative pursuits blur into a cohesive community experience. From conference spaces that spark dialogue and idea exchange to artisan laboratories that nurture creativity, every aspect is crafted to support and inspire. Add to this the vibrant mix of artisan’s spaces, NGO offices, pastry labs, sports facilities, and food areas, and you have a dynamic venue that caters to a broad spectrum of needs and interests. At the heart of The Net Positive lies the profound value of co-working spaces. While visiting the educational campus of Energie Steiermark AG during our #woodconstruction #studytour a few weeks ago, we experienced from up close how entwined structural design and recruiting potential can be.   Another timber construction aiming for top international talents is the legero united campus. The shoe company´s head office did not only win multiple awards but is smart in many ways. “The fashion business is fast moving. Later this year Stream HPC is moving out to new, larger offices. We have been staying at the World Fashion Center for many years, which is the perfect place for an older startup that is more like a normal company. Lelylaan-area (or as they like to call it themselves: "West-As", as a reference to the business hub in the South of Amsterdam) is a fast-changing area, too often overlooked. Benchmark is allowed to start office revitalization in Frankfurt's Mertonviertel. By 2026, a flexible #office building is to be built with a special focus on #sustainability and connectivity. The Efeus project by #projectdeveloper Benchmark has now received planning permission for a comprehensive redevelopment, almost a year after the purchase was announced. The property will be dismantled down to the supporting structure and modernized. The #property is located on a 6,000 square meter plot of land at Emil-von-Behring-Straße 2 in Frankfurt. A total of 9,500 square meters of office space should be ready for occupancy in autumn 2026. #Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2025. Flexible workspaces are planned, as well as a rental area of around 600 square meters for special uses such as co-working spaces or a fitness studio. The property also includes 70 outdoor parking spaces, 50 of which have electric charging stations. Benchmark is aiming for a DGNB platinum certification and a Wired Score gold certification. In addition, the renovation will be carried out in line with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement, which includes compliance with the EU taxonomy for sustainable office #buildings. The Efeus is very well connected to the city center and the motorway network via the A661 motorway feeder road. The nearby subway stations Frankfurt Wiesenau and Frankfurt Riedwiese/Mertonviertel also offer a quick connection to Frankfurt's city center using public transport. Initial discussions with potential tenants are also being held.
