Ververica has just launched the BYOC option for their managed #Flink platform! Bring Your Own Cloud is the most preferred deployment option among the enterprise customers we work with. They want to keep data on their accounts without moving it out for processing. This not only enhances data security but also significantly reduces the cost of data ingress and egress, as compute and data are in the same VPC. To me, this is the new form of "data locality." BYOC FTW! :)
