Network for Success in Melbourne's Commercial Finance Market! 🌟 Building strong connections is key to uncovering hidden opportunities in Melbourne's commercial finance sector. Engage with industry events, join professional groups, and connect with influencers. Authentic relationships often lead to unadvertised roles and valuable advice. Last week we held an event for Senior Finance professionals where we shared the findings of a recent survey of over 50 CFO's in Melbourne, the answer to "What do you know now that you wish you knew before you were an Executive?" was the importance of networking & relationships. Leverage LinkedIn to connect and share insights. Comment and discuss trends to stay visible. Don't hesitate to reach out—most professionals are happy to mentor and guide. Stay proactive and consistent. The right opportunity often arises from the network you cultivate. #MelbourneFinance #NetworkingTips #CareerGrowth #buildingbetterfutures

Ask any CEO or CMO about their business’ secret ingredient, and they’ll likely point to their employees. They are the lifeblood of any company, the passion behind its core values, the intelligence that keeps it innovating, and ultimately the reassurance in its ability to deliver against its promises. In the B2B world, LinkedIn has already evolved the way businesses can mobilise their employees for commercial growth. Brand Advocacy and Thought Leadership is woven into the fabric of professional digital networking. We no longer need to rely on a nominated Bezos, Musk or Jobs-esque individual to stand on a podium to sell our company vision. Your employees are now your billboards, communicating with your industry on a daily basis, on the topics that matter right now. They’re engaged with a niche audience and they have access to a network far greater than you realise. I don't know of a better vehicle for Executives and Sales Leaders to continue to fill their funnel with warm, c-level introductions each month. Accelerent - Indianapolis is a powerful tool to help you grow your business!
How often do you get together with key influencers to share your top prospects and offer introductions for one another? If you are like most executives, the answer is "never". If you are an executive participating in Accelerent, you get this chance at least once per month - allowing you to maximize the time spent on business development. The thumbs up in the picture? That indicates that the person got at least 1 promised warm introduction to one of their TOP TEN PROSPECTS. One executive found connectivity to 8 of their Top 10! Thanks to all of the participants in this month's "Executive Connection Meeting". Your network needs a ranking system. Here's why it's crucial to organize your network based on influence: the individuals at level 5 have the power to literally move economies. These are the heavy hitters - the CEOs at the helm of major corporations, celebrities whose names are known worldwide, and influencers with the reach to shape trends and opinions. By categorizing your contacts in this way, you ensure that you're not just randomly connecting people. Instead, you're making strategic introductions that can lead to significant outcomes. The level 5s, with their unparalleled influence, are at the top because their decisions and actions can have ripple effects across global markets and societies. This ranking system isn't about exclusivity; it's about understanding the impact of your network and using it wisely. It's about recognizing that some connections can open doors or create opportunities that others simply can't. And when you introduce someone to a level 5 contact, you're not just making an introduction; you're potentially setting the stage for something transformative. So, organizing your network by influence is about more than just keeping track of who you know. It's about strategically leveraging your connections to make meaningful, impactful introductions. I really care about my reputation and keeping my relationships solid. This way, when I do make an introduction, it's a big deal and everyone's excited about it. I've got different levels for who gets introduced to whom: ✅ Level 1 is for those who are all about meeting anyone and everyone. ✅ Level 2 is for the connectors - the ones who love to bring people together. ✅ Level 3 is for my more selective contacts. They're open to meeting new people, but there needs to be a good reason. ✅ Level 4 is for those looking for very specific connections. They usually have a shortlist of who they want to meet. ✅ Level 5 is for my elite contacts - the celebrities, powerhouse CEOs, and big influencers. I believe it's super important to manage your network carefully, or you'll end up messing up good relationships. And if an introduction doesn't go well, it's important to talk about it. It's on all three of us involved in the introduction to make sure we're communicating well. If you don't look after your network, it won't really be yours for long.

Don’t aspire to become an "influencer". Instead, become influential. Here’s how: You’re influential when: You’re at a business meeting and your ideas sway the entire room. You’re at a networking event, and you build real, meaningful connections. You’re at a family event, and your words inspire your loved ones. You're in a sales call, and the client is sold before you present the offer. Influence is knowing how to communicate in a way that guarantees success. And the best part? Anyone can build influence. Yet, most people can’t figure out HOW. You don’t have to be an “influencer” to have clients lined up to work with you. I show you exactly how to build influence with anyone: https://lnkd.in/ezChii-N Remember: Influence is not about the size of your audience - But the impact you have on them. P.S. Who is the most influential person in your life?

Want to unlock hidden earning potential from your accounts? One of the most effective ways to do this is by identifying internal champions - the people within your client’s business who can vouch for you and open doors to other parts of their organisation. Leveraging these relationships doesn’t just save you time; it takes your account development game to the next level. Some of the benefits that come from this strategy are: 🚀 Increased Trust & Credibility: Build stronger relationships and trust with your clients. 🚀 Direct Access to Decision Makers: Bypass gatekeepers to reach key influencers. 🚀 Uncover New Opportunities: Identify hidden potential within existing accounts. 🚀 Repeat Business & Referrals: Build long-term relationships that drive sustainable growth.
