I am pleased to announce the successful training of the YOLOv8 model on a custom dataset of potholes using instance segmentation from Ultralytics. The model was trained for 100 epochs, and subsequent testing with video input yielded excellent results, with precise detection of pothole segments. The dataset annotation was performed using Roboflow, which provided a robust and efficient platform for this critical step.
