Hey, pssst - Elasticsearch serverless is here! Well, it's not like "without servers" - there are plenty around there, and I know it best, as I work here, and maintain that infra. It's just abstracted from end users, so now you may just focus on something more interesting than sharding, resharding, scaling and doing all that boring, maintenance stuff. This includes Kibana. And the whole Observability, Security and Machine Learning feats. As Elastic is for many years not just Elasticsearch anymore (you knew it already, right?) For now, just on AWS, but we're doing plenty to get it shipped to GCP and Azure. We'll be there soon. And just for reference, our classic offering, the Elastic Cloud, works as usual. For many years, it's been a multi-cloud service (AWS, GCP and Azure), so you may just pick your place. The Elastic Serverless Forwarder is an AWS Lambda function that forward logs such as VPC Flow logs, WAF, Cloud Trail etc. from AWS environment to Elastic. It can be used to send data to Elastic Cloud as well as self-managed deployment.
