A memorable experience that drew in the crowds. Earlier in the season, we crafted a “Where’s Wally?” style competition for Michelmores. We used a map of the UK and challenged participants to guess where one of the Partners was hiding by placing a numbered pin on the map. It’s completely free and, should you become a finalist, you will receive months of free promotion via the event’s marketing campaign, plus huge exposure on the night, before the best of the industry. It’s true, you literally do have to be 'in it to win it'…but it’s also true to say that you don’t have to win it to benefit! A win is sensational, but being a finalist alone is so worth your time. Our audience love a competition on Raring2go! Magazines and Websites. We know because they enter our competitions in their thousands! This one here for a Harry Potter Maped Helix stationery set ran for a month and attracted over 3,000 entries. Running a competition with us is an efficient way for advertisers to zoom in on our engaged family audience in a ‘dip their toe in the water’ kind of way. It’s a low risk strategy, drives high user interaction and enhances brand awareness. Our family audience shares too and spreads word about an exciting R2G! competition across their socials. They encourage others to join and organically boost engagement levels. The correlation between prize value and number of entires is not as closely aligned as you might think. We've become pretty savvy at knowing what will and what won't pique our audiences interest. When your players see that you care, they'll be inspired to work even harder next season. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 During your ceremony, highlight significant moments from the past season and showcase some of the standout plays from your most valuable players. If you have any funny videos from practices or away games, share those to add a lighthearted touch to the event. Reflecting on the season can remind everyone of their achievements and provide insights on how to improve in the future. Custom trophies and awards are a fantastic way to communicate and reinforce your organization's brand and event positioning, helping to attract more participants to your events.
