Here’s my #demoreel 2024! Had an amazing year full of exciting works and opportunities. - Especially being part of Anantaya creating visuals for some incredible products. - Also being able to direct and animate a Music video ‘ORKA’. - Personal projects, where I was able to explore and experiment, by mixing 3d with live-action and vfx, were also a highlight of this year’s work. As students, it can sometimes be overwhelming to analyze a fully composited VFX shot. However, it's crucial to understand that these complex scenes are constructed from numerous simple layers. By breaking down these elements, you'll gain the skills and confidence to create your own impressive VFX shots. In this advanced VFX class, we will explore how to create an inspired Thor hammer scene from scratch. The primary aim of this class is to teach you how to build this environment and render it with detailed information passes, enabling seamless compositing in After Effects. Throughout this course, I will guide you through a step-by-step process to achieve this look. We will dissect the elements layer by layer, uncovering the components that contribute to a high-quality, Hollywood-style VFX shot.

Using Unreal Engine for the layout of Space Dan, my end-of-studies short film, was incredibly helpful for me and my team. It allowed us to quickly iterate, experiment with framings, add temporary VFX, and edit entire sequences directly in Unreal’s sequencer ! 🎬 Thanks to real-time, the 3D layout wasn’t just a simple application of the storyboard—it became a continuous process where I could create new shots and story elements on the fly. This approach felt much closer to live-action shooting, with plenty of rushes providing greater freedom during editing. 🎥 Sometimes I pushed things a bit too far, with entire sequences not making it into the final cut—like this alternative ending, which was prototyped in less than three days using mocap from Mixamo and Move AI But having the ability to test and visualize even the most ridiculous ideas unlocked our creativity—and it was a lot of fun! ⭐️⭐️ #Unreal #UnrealEngine #realtime #previs #3Dlayout #animation
