This is just another example of how arrogance and elitism are corrupting the medico-legal processes of justice. Lawyers who are devoid of morality are as damaging to the profession of law as doctors who are devoid of morality are damaging to the profession of medicine. Whilst Chris is focusing on the legal profession in this presentation I think it is also very important to realize that there was profound dishonesty within the NHS management including members of the medical profession. Well done Dr Chris Day. This is indeed a scandal of immense proportion with widespread implications. It is different from the Post Office scandal but there are the distinct similarities. The dishonesty in the establishment and the deliberate destruction of the livelihoods of good people. Dishonest lawyers and dishonest medical experts are a bane to society and they exist worldwide. First step in addressing a problem is to recognize there is one. How do we express the problem in simple terms? Professional people being unprofessional?
