Out in the Field and Grateful This Thanksgiving As we gear up for the Thanksgiving holiday, we’re out in the field at Pecos Country, filled with gratitude. Our next well is going online today and we’re ready to kick off the next one. Progress never stops here, and neither does our commitment to helping others build their futures. Thankfulness isn’t just a season—it’s a mindset. Every project we tackle reminds us of the incredible opportunity we have to empower others and create lasting impact. We won’t stop. We can’t stop. The future is too bright, and the work we’re doing is too meaningful. Here’s to giving thanks, staying determined, and looking ahead to all that’s yet to come! Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Pecos Country. Michael Tanner Rey Treviño III Ruben Trevino #Thankful #OilAndGas #BuildingFutures #ThanksgivingGratitude #PecosCountryOperating

Thanksgiving: A Time for Gratitude and Reflection 🍂🦃 As we gather this Thanksgiving, it’s important to remember that the holiday holds different meanings for different people. Traditionally, it’s a day to reflect on our blessings, share a meal with loved ones, and express gratitude for the good in our lives. But it’s also a moment to acknowledge the complex history behind the holiday. The first Thanksgiving in 1621 is often depicted as a harmonious feast between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people, celebrating a successful harvest. While that may be part of the story, we must also recognize the hardships and lasting impact colonization had on Native American communities. For many indigenous people, Thanksgiving is a day of remembrance, honoring their ancestors and raising awareness of their rich cultures and histories. This Thanksgiving, let’s celebrate with gratitude for the present while honoring the past. It’s a time to reflect on the resilience and generosity of the Wampanoag and other Native peoples who played a crucial role in this history. As we enjoy our meals, let’s also take a moment to learn more about the traditions and cultures of Native Americans and support indigenous communities today. Gratitude is more meaningful when we approach it with understanding and respect for all perspectives. 🦃 Greetings from the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade! 🦃 As I celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S. today, I can’t help but reflect on the differences between the German Erntedankfest and American Thanksgiving. Here are the key distinctions I’ve noticed: 🦃 Origins and Significance • Erntedankfest: A religious harvest festival with Christian roots, typically celebrated in churches. • Thanksgiving: Commemorates the Pilgrims and Native Americans’ cooperation and is a central part of American culture. 🦃 Date and Celebration Style • Erntedankfest: Celebrated in early October (date varies by region) with church services and harvest processions. • Thanksgiving: A national holiday on the fourth Thursday of November, centered on family feasts, parades, and gratitude. 🦃 Food and Traditions • Erntedankfest: Features harvest displays and traditional German foods like bread and roasted meats. • Thanksgiving: Highlights turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and traditions like parades and football games. 💡How do you celebrate gratitude in your culture? ____________________________________ ✅ Do you operate globally? 🌷Saving the lives of trapped birds is an act of compassion that not only benefits the animals but also nurtures the goodness within us. When we come across a bird in distress, whether caught in a net or struggling in an unfamiliar environment, helping it find freedom can be a life-changing moment for both the creature and ourselves.🐦🦜🌴 🌷By offering a hand to those in need, we embrace the interconnectedness of all life and contribute to the delicate balance of nature.Such acts of kindness no matter how small, ripple through the world, fostering an environment where empathy flourish. 🌷In many belief systems, the concept of karma suggests that every action we take—whether good or bad—returns to us in some form. Helping a trapped bird is not just a gesture of kindness but an investment in the positive energy that comes back into our lives. The joy and peace we feel from doing good can manifest in unexpected ways, bringing rewards of love, success, or even personal growth. 🌷Ultimately, by saving a bird's life, we participate in a cycle of positive deeds, inviting good karma into our lives and spreading harmony to the world around us. #SaveBirds #KindnessMatters #GoodKarma #CompassionInAction #WildlifeProtection
