It’s been a while since I’ve shared something here. Blame the whirlwind of 2024 for that. As the year winds down, I’ve finally taken a moment to pause, look back, and reflect. It hasn’t always been easy, with plenty of challenges and curveballs along the way, but there’s been a lot to be proud of too. Growth, learning, and those little wins that remind you why you keep pushing forward. What I’m most grateful for are the people I’ve had the chance to work with, learn from, and share this journey with. (You know who you are) They say a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor, and 2024 has certainly tested our ability to adapt, persevere, and find new solutions. It’s been a year of showing up, figuring things out, and leaning into that “let’s fix this” mindset because that’s where the real progress happens. Looking ahead to 2025, I’m under no illusion that it’ll all be smooth sailing. But honestly? I’m excited. It’s another chance to refine what we do, embrace new opportunities, and keep striving for better while still making room for creativity, balance, and definitely some fun along the way. If you’ve been part of this year, whether in small ways or big, thank you. Your support, ideas, and energy have made a difference. Here’s to a new year full of health, happiness, and progress, whatever that looks like for you. Maybe it’s launching a project you’ve been dreaming about, spending more time with the people who matter most, or just enjoying the small wins that make life good. Wishing you a restful holiday season and an amazing start to 2025. Let’s go make it a great one!

2024: A Year of Transformation, Detachment, and Growth As I reflect on 2024, I can’t help but realize what a transformational year it has been. This year brought transitions that I hadn’t necessarily planned for—work and otherwise. It was a year of detachments, of learning to let go, and of coming to terms with unexpected changes. Being someone who tends to intertwine work with personal emotions and attachments, I learned this year—sometimes the hard way—that life doesn’t always follow the ideal path we envision. I experienced my fair share of ups and downs, often feeling overwhelmed by the pace at which things changed around me. Yet, amidst the chaos, there were valuable lessons to be learned. 2024 was filled with the unexpected—for both good and bad reasons—and, in a way, I feel this balanced out. This year taught me about people—how you can never fully know someone, even when you think you do. People surprise you, and sometimes they shock you. Growth and success can intimidate others, and in some cases, people misuse their power. This year, I learned to be prepared for such challenges and to move on gracefully. It’s a reminder to focus on keeping your karma clean, to always do the right thing—no matter the cost. Stand firm on your non-negotiables, especially when faced with unfair demands, being devalued, or when someone tries to force you to settle for less. Never allow anyone to dim your shine. These lessons weren’t always easy, but they pushed me toward strengthening my spiritual connection and finding moments of inner peace. Closures, though important, remain a journey, and I am still working through them while navigating other emotions. Amidst the chaos, I am deeply grateful for the highs—unique, empowering moments that remind me to focus on the positives. Although 2024 didn’t unfold the way I had planned, I believe everything happens for a reason—and often, for the better. This year will always be remembered as one of profound learning and growth. As I step into 2025, I carry with me a renewed sense of purpose, resilience, and hope for clarity and answers in the year ahead. Here’s to the highs, the lessons, and the journey ✨

How did the final quarter of the year sneak up so fast? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I saw this meme the other day and wow it resonated!!! It's Q4, the last sprint of 2024—and if you're waiting until January to make changes, you’ll already be behind. This is your chance to pause and ask yourself: Are you where you wanted to be by now Are you fulfilled in your current role? Do you wake up excited to start your day, or are you counting down to the weekend? No?????? What's holding you back from living a life that energises you? If you're not where you want to be, that’s OK. The real power lies in acknowledging it and taking action. 🔥 Some prompts to guide your reflection: * What have you accomplished this year? * How did you expect to feel by now? * What’s no longer working for you? * What do you want 2025 to look and feel like? As a career transition, sabbatical, and career break coach, I help people who are ready for change but unsure of their next step. I’d love to explore how you can finish this year strong, aligned with your purpose, and enter 2025 with renewed focus and clarity. Ready to reflect? Let’s chat. #CareerTransition #Q4Reflections #LeadershipDevelopment #SabbaticalCoach #CareerChange

Would you be scared or happy at the thought of this year being the same as 2023? Are you in a situation where you feel satisfied with your progress and where you are? Or do you feel like, despite wanting to change things this year, you find yourself in the same place with 25% of the year already gone? If this thought scares you, that’s good. It means you’re ready for change. You’re ready for growth. Don’t try to find excuses as to why you shouldn’t do it. That’s the first thing your mind will venture into. Because we are used to comfort. To habits. To playing it safe. Sometimes even too safe. If you are not fully satisfied, you need to step out of your zone of comfort. Nothing magical happens when we stick to what we know. We would only be expecting more of the same. But if you want to reignite that spark, take a chance. There is no better satisfaction in the world than taking a chance on ourselves. Zero regret whatsoever. Putting yourself first. Are you ready for 2024 to be your year? #CareerAdvancement #ProfessionalGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #ExecutiveCoach #CareerSuccess #CareerGoals

17 days before the end of 2024, many are in the mode of wrapping up the year. Have seen in social media feed stories of friends posting photo of airplane/airport saying goodbye to 2024 and see you in 2025. Hopefully you will end the year on a high and start 2025 on a high too! Some aspects to ponder as we plan the year ahead:- 1. What is our North Star? 2. What should we start/stop/continue? 3. How would the trend shift affecting you? Are you riding the wave? 4. Are you developing professionally/personally? 5. What are must haves and must not haves for you? 6. Are you shifting any of your mindset? 7. Are you taking care of yourself? 8. How can 2025 be better than 2024? 🌟 Have you ever felt like the world was testing your resilience more than your abilities?🤷 Have you ever felt like you’ve given your all, but success still feels out of reach?💔. Perhaps you’ve been searching for a job all year, only to receive no calls or feedback. Maybe promises from loved ones haven’t materialized, or a new business venture crumbled before it even took off. If you’re feeling discouraged, I want you to know—you're not alone.🤝 I want to speak directly to your heart. As we approach the festive season and the new year, it’s important to acknowledge the struggles we’ve faced. The road to success is rarely smooth, and the weight of uncertainty can feel overwhelming. But remember, each challenge holds a lesson, and every setback is an opportunity to grow. While the year may not have unfolded as expected, don’t lose hope. The grind continues, and every effort you’ve put in will eventually bear fruit. The new year brings a fresh start—a chance to carry forward the lessons of this year and channel them into new opportunities. So, stay optimistic. Keep pushing, keep learning, and keep believing in yourself. Success is closer than you think, and the best is yet to come.🌈🚀 Happy Christmas🎉 and a prosperous New Year! 💫 #KeepGrinding #StayOptimistic #NewYearNewOpportunities #NewYearNewHopes #Resilience
