#HELPKONNECTFEST 🚨✨ Okay, Konnect FEST kommunity, I have a massive (and amazing) problem! Ana claudia Casmon and Marianella Casmon from Good Things Happen - NDIS Marketing just handed over the first draft of my new branding, and... I LOVE all three options! 😆💖 Here’s the scoop: they said, “No worries if you don’t like any of them—this is only the first draft! Just tell us what you like: maybe the colours in #1, the typography in #2, or the illustration in #3. We’ll mix your feedback into new drafts until it’s spot-on!” But here’s the thing—every option feels like me, and now I don’t know which direction to go! So, I’m calling on my Konnect Fest fam for some expert crowd-sourcing. Here’s the lowdown on each design: 1️⃣ Logo #1: "The Face of Konnect Fest!" – They went all out with a bold illustration (of me!) as the logo, a rare move that feels so right here. It’s got that bright, energetic vibe I bring to events, and the circle captures our sense of community. 2️⃣ Logo #2: "One-of-a-Kind (Unicorn Style!)" – This one features a unicorn with my pink hair and glasses, along with the Southern Cross stars of Australia, symbolising how Konnect Fest is spreading its magic nationwide. Unique, quirky, and just a bit magical! 3️⃣ Logo #3: "Cheeky & On the Move!" – A playful spin-off of #2, with typography from #1 to bring in extra movement and character. It’s got that cheeky, fun energy that’s all about Konnect Fest’s dynamic vibe. So, what do you think? Which one screams Konnect Fest to you? Drop your thoughts in the comments—your feedback is golden! Let’s make this brand something we’re all proud of! 💥✨ #KonnectFest #GoodThingsHappen #NDIS #BrandingMagic #CommunityPower #Let’sKonnect

At the 2024 SXSW Conference, the digital world’s Michelangelos and Shakespeares—Monotype, Pantone, Getty Images, and Canva—gathered to redefine the essence of brand-building in the modern age. 🌟🎨 Their dialogue, "The Ingredients for Building a Modern Brand," illuminated the powerful synergy of color and typography as the foundation of unforgettable branding. The power of subtle refinements. Sometimes it's the little touches that make all the difference to a brand's design. I recently came up with this concept to refine the visual identity of contracoutura, a Portuguese community. Main improvements: → I optimized the logo with a thicker, more impactful font. → Added the © symbol to professionalize the brand. → Created layouts for social media posts to make them look more appealing. By the time I completed this concept, contracoutura had already changed their design approach. I must commend them on their clean, appealing new look, i love it 🖤 . The contracoutura team was incredibly gracious during our Instagram exchange. It's always inspiring to connect with fellow creatives who appreciate design. What small design changes have you seen make a big impact? Share your ideas below! 💭 "This is just a mock project to test my skills as a designer. The logos, branding and names have been used under fair use rules." eduardo-design™

Day 14 of starting a side project called Pointcheck 🔻 : Today, I started brainstorming the logo. Building a product from scratch isn't just about code; it's about crafting a brand identity. Remember, a great logo is a timeless investment. Here are a few tips for designing a strong logo: Keep it simple: Less is often more. Choose the right colors: Consider the emotions and associations they evoke. Typography matters: The font style should reflect your brand's personality. Versatility is key: Your logo should look good in various sizes and formats. #productdevelopment #designthinking #uxdesign #startuplife #pointcheck #logodesign #branding

A Brand Is So Much More Than Just a Logo 🎨✨ Happy Friday, everyone! Today, I want to take a moment to talk about something close to my heart when it comes to design. A brand is so much more than just a logo—it's a living, breathing system, crafted with intention to reflect the values, tone, and personality of a company. Building a visual identity is like crafting an orchestra or choreographing a dance: every piece—colors, typography, icons, and auxiliary graphics—has its own role to play, and they all need to work together in perfect harmony. 💚 The challenge and the beauty lie in creating a visual language that communicates those core values and truly resonates with people. Every detail matters: how the colors interact, the weight of a typeface, the movement of patterns—all of these are like individual notes in a larger symphony. But visual identities also have to be able to evolve, transform, and even break their own rules. Much like how Miró or Picasso did—once they mastered their techniques, they could then break the rules and create their own. And isn't that the true magic of creativity? (Although that’s definitely a subject for another post! 😉) In this project, I wanted to make sure every icon and every pattern felt vibrant, consistent, and full of personality. Together, they form a cohesive visual system, with each element acting as a "pore" of the brand, helping it breathe, live, and connect. When all the pieces of a brand’s visual identity come together smoothly, it's like a well-rehearsed dance—effortless, alive, and authentic. And that’s the magic of branding. ✨ Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend! 🖌️🎶 #BrandIdentity #VisualLanguage #DesignIsCraft #Branding #GraphicDesign #FridayFeels #VisualIdentity #CreativeProcess #LivingBrand #EvolvingDesign

We established a #nonprofit recently and thought we’d share our approach to establishing our #BrandIdentity. For every #business, having a simple and effective logo is a strong suggestion. Here are many of the elements we applied in setting up the Dresden Digital Equity logo: ESTABLISHING A LOGO 1️⃣ Symbol - Incorporate a symbol that represents connectivity and equality. A balanced scale or a handshake can symbolize equity, while a Wi-Fi signal or a network node can represent digital access. (we chose the Wi-Fi signal) 2️⃣ Color Scheme - Use colors that evoke trust, reliability, and inclusivity. Blues and greens are often associated with these qualities. (we chose blue) 3️⃣ Typography - Choose a clean, modern sans-serif font to convey a forward-thinking and accessible organization. (we think we made a good selection) 4️⃣ Layout - Keep the design minimalistic with a clear focal point. Avoid clutter to ensure the logo remains recognizable at different sizes. (we tossed complicated design and Kept It Simple) CONCEPTUAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS Symbol ♒️ - A balanced and scaled logo is essential. We stayed centrally aligned, but an alternative could be with one side representing a Wi-Fi signal and the other representing a connected group of nodes. Color Scheme 🌈 - stick with blue or green. Typography 🔠 - A modern sans-serif font keeps it clean. Layout 🪢 - The symbol above the text “Dresden Digital Equity” has ample space around the elements. 👉🏼 If you apply this combination of elements, you should be able to create a logo that is simple, memorable, and effectively communicates the mission of promoting digital equity. 💡 If you need design options, @Fiverr has many freelancers ready, willing, and able to help. ❓What else would you suggest❓ Our collective knowledge, experience, and wisdom are meant to be shared here on #LinkedIn. If you work with design systems, or large web projects generally, you probably know that uh-oh feeling of finding out a rebrand is going to happen. A rebrand is a great excuse to systematise. This means making a structured, repeatable framework that makes the brand easier to scale and evolve. Systematise everything possible: ➡️ Colour schemes ➡️ Typography ➡️ Icons ➡️ Spacing and alignment ➡️ Motion ➡️ (What else?!) Doing this makes the brand more polished and consistent. Not only is that a benefit to the organisation, it builds trust in your team. It also makes the brand easier to understand, which helps to gauge the impact of change. You go from a mindset of “there’s so much to do” to “here’s what we’ll do”. We see rebrands as an opportunity to make design systems more adaptable, saving time and money in the long run. #DesignSystems #UI #WebDevelopment

Fresh, human-centered design that tells the stories of those we help. → Accessibility. Our refreshed brand is fully accessible, with AAA compliant colours, dyslexia-friendly fonts, and accessible language. Our website has also undergone a full transformation to improve everybody's experience. Financial wellbeing is for everyone, and our new look reflects that. It starts with a light purple square with rounded corners. Bippit’s logo appears in the centre. It’s dark purple. After a bit, the square becomes a rectangle and moves upward alongside the logo. Other rectangles come from below to fill the screen, similar to a collage. There are 4 rectangles: rectangle 1 shows an animation of users matching with coaches, rectangle 2 and 3 have a texture, and rectangle 4 has an animation of our website slider, showing how many employees are impacted by financial events.
