#Try Again and Again 🐞 <Try Again and Again >🐞 I remember when I first started building APIs… oh, the frustration! 😩 Every time I got to the part where I had to run Migration, I’d feel the dread set in. Why? Because I knew it would fail at least 5 times before I got it right. The screen would fill with errors, half of which I didn’t understand. 💻🐞🐞🐞 But I didn’t give up. With assistance from colleagues and Senior Devs, today I can run Migration successfully, on the first try, with no errors. 💥🎉 💪 Don’t Stop, Keep Going! 💪 For anyone who’s struggling with endless lines of code 🐛 that keep you awake at night, or those designs that just won’t come together… keep going. Each attempt is a step closer to mastery, and one day, you’ll look back and realize how far you’ve come. 🐞💻✨ Thanks to my Senior Devs: #Osman #Jessei Here’s to perseverance, growth, and the journey! 🌟 #TryAgain #KeepCoding #NeverGiveUp

As a backend developer, I’ve come to realize that remaining calm is just as crucial as any tech skill. Whether it’s a server issue at peak hours, debugging code that just won’t cooperate, or troubleshooting a sudden system crash—panic rarely provides solutions. In those moments, I remind myself of these principles: 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀: Just like in code reviews, taking a step back to look at the bigger picture can reveal a solution that’s easy to miss when we’re too close to the problem. 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝘅𝗲𝘀: Rushing a fix can sometimes lead to even bigger issues. Thinking it through and approaching it logically ensures a more effective solution. 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: Backend systems can be complex, but maintaining calm focus on elements within my control makes problem-solving faster and smoother. In tech, as in life, staying calm is a superpower. For anyone facing daily challenges, remember: calm minds create lasting solutions. #backenddeveloper #problemSolving #calmind #techmindset #developerlife #staycalm

🎓 Dev Lesson: When Your API "Breaks" Other Teams Year 1 as a Backend Engineer taught me this: When someone reports an API issue, it's not always your code that's broken. Key learning: - Don't immediately assume it's a bug in your code - Check how others are using your API - Senior devs can misuse APIs too - Be confident to question API usage respectfully The fastest solution? Sometimes it's just asking "How exactly are you using this API?" 🚀 #SoftwareEngineering #Development #APIDevelopment #DevLife #SoftwareEngineering #AICoding #ProgrammingTips #CodeQuality #SoftwareDevelopment #CodingBestPractices #DeveloperCommunity #TechCareer #EngineeringGrowth #AIandTech #CodingJourney #LinkedInLearning #TechInsights #CareerDevelopment #DevTips What's your most memorable first-year dev lesson? APIs are the backbone of modern tech ecosystems… if you document them right. Many people don’t. Here’s what happens: 🔸 Wasted dev hours. Developers spend days (or weeks) reverse-engineering APIs because the documentation is unclear, incomplete, or outdated. 🔸 Increased bug risk. When devs make assumptions due to missing documentation, they introduce bugs that could have been avoided. 🔸 Slow onboarding for new hires. Poor documentation forces new developers to rely on tribal knowledge, dragging out their onboarding process. How to fix it: 🔸 Invest in auto-generated documentation. Tools like Swagger or Postman can generate API docs as you build. This ensures that the documentation is always up-to-date. 🔸 Enforce documentation as part of the development process. Make it non-negotiable. No API goes live without full documentation, period. 🔸 Use version control for docs too. This way it stays close to the code and does not become dead documentation. #API #DeveloperProductivity #APIDocumentation #SoftwareDevelopment

In a land of endless coffee cups and unread documentation, there lived a brave developer navigating the wild seas of code. Their journey was nothing short of a heroic—and often hilarious—struggle. The Lifecycle of a Software Bug It all began with a simple task: fix a bug. “Relax,” thought the developer. “This isn’t even a bug, it’s just an undocumented feature.” But the product manager wasn’t buying it. With a sigh, the developer admitted, “Okay, it’s a bug, but it’s harmless!” That confidence lasted about 30 seconds until the QA team flagged it as critical.😎 Cue full-blown panic mode. The developer launched into their sacred debugging ritual: Stare at the code like it owes you an explanation. Google the error message. Find a Stack Overflow post where someone angrier than you solved it 5 years ago. Finally, the bug was fixed! Success! …until two new bugs mysteriously appeared. “Why is this my life?” #codelife #devlife #CodeReview #ProgrammingHumor #StackOverflow #Debugging
