As someone who loves food, I was delighted to discover that my friend and MeatEater, Inc. alumni, Byron Dumbrill, had launched his own startup called TasteMatch, Inc. His company has developed a user-friendly app (accessible via https://tastematch.app/) that allows users to explore different ingredients, discover culinary matches, and create unique recipes. Before TasteMatch, I would google recipes, find 3 recipes that look interesting, and Frankenstein my way through a middle version. While this works, I often have to write it down to not confuse myself and it takes time. I've been using TasteMatch for a week and I'm impressed by how effortless it is to discover scrumptious dishes that aren't too difficult to make. You can add or remove ingredients and receive new suggestions, choose a geographic culinary focus, select a type of cuisine, ask for recommended sides, and more. The application is feature-rich without being overwhelming. With 45,000 ingredient matches, intelligent suggestions, and an AI-powered sous-chef assistant that can answer questions and generates recipes, this is a fun app worth trying out. You can enjoy a one-week trial period to try out new skills and add some spice to your holiday cooking. #cooking #meateater #ai
