Sustainable feed practices promote animal health and positively affect ecosystems by protecting our environment. We feed leftover, nutritious ingredients from other industries that otherwise would go to landfills. #COP29 #Biodiversity

Today is World Milk Day, but it's important to highlight the harsh realities behind the glass of milk we often take for granted. While the dairy industry celebrates, let's remember the untold suffering endured by animals: 🚨 Animal Cruelty: Cows in the dairy industry are often subjected to harsh living conditions and treatments. They endure painful procedures and are kept in confinement for the majority of their lives. 🚨 Male Calves: Male calves, often seen as byproducts, face a grim fate. Many are starved to death or killed shortly after birth because they cannot produce milk. 🚨 Artificial Insemination: Cows are repeatedly impregnated through artificial insemination, a process that can be stressful and invasive. 🚨 Slaughter: Once cows are no longer able to produce milk, they are sent to slaughterhouses, ending their lives in distress. While the dairy industry paints a rosy picture, it's crucial to acknowledge these ethical issues. Let's rethink our choices and advocate for more humane alternatives. Compassion for animals should be a priority over profit. #WorldMilkDay #AnimalWelfare #DairyFree #ChooseCompassion #PlantBased

Helping the Planet and Happy Animals Helping the Planet: Conventional meat production often means forests bulldozed for feed crops, pesticides polluting waterways, and a big carbon footprint. Pastured meats support farms that work with nature, promoting healthier soil and less environmental harm. Happy Animals: Picture this: cows and chickens living their best lives, soaking up sunshine and nibbling on grass. Our pastured animals have space to roam and do what comes naturally, leading to happier, healthier livestock. Choosing pastured meats isn’t just about what's for dinner; it’s a vote for a healthier planet and animal welfare. Next up: How pastured meats taste better and offer superior quality! #Sustainability #AnimalWelfare #EcoFriendlyFarming

It is crucial to acknowledge the harsh reality faced by farmed animals whose family structures and bonds are systematically violated by the animal agriculture industry. 🐷🐔🐮From pigs in gestation crates to chicks in industrial incubators and calves separated from their mothers, these practices not only cause emotional distress but also fracture essential social structures in animal communities, undermining their well-being and natural order. 📝 Know more about this here - https://lnkd.in/d3XDCgKN By deciding on 🌱❤️plant-based alternatives of dairy and other animal products, we can help reduce the demand for this cruel practice and support a more compassionate and sustainable food system. 🍒 AUTUMN RED BERRY ADVICE 🍒 Throughout Autumn and Winter, the Animal Poison Line receive many calls involving dogs ingesting red berries, whilst on a walk or in the garden. It is often difficult to identify the species of plant, and therefore identify whether ingestion is a toxicological risk for your pet. • Cotoneaster species, is an evergreen low-growing shrub/tree commonly found in gardens and public parks. The plant bears round bright red berries which can remain on the plant until winter. Dogs will normally be unaffected following ingestion of the berries but they might develop an upset stomach. There is a potential for cyanogenic glycoside toxicity if a large quantity has been eaten but severe Cotoneaster poisoning is rare. • Yew is a slow-growing, evergreen shrub/tree found throughout the UK. The seed is enclosed in a fleshy aril which is commonly mistaken for a berry. They can appear green, red or even yellow. All parts of the plant are toxic, sudden death is the most common sign in livestock, but few severe cases have been reported in dogs. Vomiting and diarrhoea is common in dogs. However in severe cases, heart problems may occur. #dogadvice #dogpoisoning #doggydangers #autumnberries #dogfacts

Some are vegetarian and some are non-vegetarian. Even as vegetarians, we may unintentionally harm animals in various ways. Here are some examples: Dairy : Consuming dairy products supports industries that often involve animal exploitation and cruelty. Honey: Harvesting honey can harm bees and disrupt their colonies. Silk and wool: Using products made from silk and wool supports industries that exploit animals for their fibers. Leather and fur: Wearing leather and fur products contributes to animal exploitation and cruelty. Supporting animal-testing companies: Some companies test on animals; supporting them indirectly funds animal cruelty. Being mindful of these aspects can help reduce harm and promote a more compassionate lifestyle. #choosecompassion #govegan #saveanimals
