Great to see Airbus expanding its presence in India, but this raises an important question—why do global firms continue to prioritize Tier 1 cities like Bengaluru over Tier 2 hubs such as Pune? While Bengaluru remains a preferred GCC destination, it’s no secret that its infrastructure and traffic congestion are struggling to keep up with growth. #Pune, on the other hand, offers a robust talent pool, improving infrastructure, and a lower cost of living—key factors for sustainable scaling. It's time we spotlight the potential of Tier 2 cities to decongest metros and foster balanced growth across the country.
Congratulations 🎉 Not sure but why banglore? When the city is too crowded and haftey traffic jams exhaust the people's mind and health both. What about tier 2 cities of India, govt. Also focusing on this way and the infrastructure of these cities are very well compared to a decade back. Popping rentals, hiked property prices and uneven lifestyles. Iike this pace, it'll be soon compared to Delhi in many ways. Well established companies can think again on their choices
That's a welcoming factor for Namma Bengaluru.. Bengaluru is the no. 1 destiny irrespective of people glitch about traffic and infra.
Chandran Sir, GCC & EPC..is India's next Growth Story... apart IT & MFG in India. Need to push for a New policy.. specially for GCC.
Good Afternoon, I am forwarding this message sir
It seems that there's a significant amount of secrecy surrounding this initiative. The details regarding Airbus's lease in Bengaluru is lacking but the parties involved declining to comment raises more questions. Transparency in such efforts would be beneficial for stakeholders and India's public alike.
Great, continuously expanding private industry is lead to great future for india. Became, an foreign dependent.
Congratulations🎉🥳👏
Impressive move by Airbus securing 650,000 sq ft at Titanium Tech Park, Whitefield, Bengaluru, with plans for future scalability. A strong step for their GCC setup.

4dPeople who are commenting for why Airbus or similar aerospace companies expand their presence in Bengaluru, let me tell you it's not because the city has IT presence. First of all Airbus is not an IT company. Bengaluru and Hyderabad has very diverse aerospace engineering talent available and its growing. No other city comes close to this. That's the reason. IT companies can be opened anywhere and it's happening too. Many tier 2 and 3 cities have very good amount of IT companies both international and local.
