It's the season of announcements. Incredible generative physics engine that can simulate many things designed for AI embodied robotics. What they've shown is incredible, I'll put link below. But this and a recent discussion with the team reinforces the power of combining Generative AI with predictive / simulation AI. Just like Genesis, it allows for inheritance of the generalisable nature of Generative AI, with some of the grounded nature of algorithmic approaches. It shouldn't be an either / or question. Thinking of scenarios like forecasting, what-if analysis, strategic planning, workforce planning, etc

Ethan Pereira presented his innovative research at IntelliSys 2024 in Amsterdam, held on September 5-6, 2024. His work delved into cutting-edge AI techniques, offering new solutions for sentiment analysis in this tech industry. He envisions a game-changing approach for walking robotics by leveraging pre-training data! Rather than traditional reinforcement learning, he proposes using robots to navigate complex environments—think stairs, obstacles, and varying terrains—to collect valuable data. By analyzing metrics like footpaths and force inputs, this innovative method could significantly streamline neural network training. A leap towards smarter robotics!
