What if it doesn’t work out? What if I fail? What if I lose money investing in my dream? What if it was all for nothing? When trying something new, it’s easy to think about all the things that could go wrong. It’s our brain’s way of trying to protect us from the unknown. But what if we could turn those “what ifs” around? What if it DOES work out? What if it’s even better than I imagined it would be? What if I end up not only making my money back, but multiplying it? What if this is the best thing I’ve ever done? Don’t be scared by the what-ifs. Embrace them - you never know what incredible things are just around the corner. Let’s make these goals happen in 2025! How often do you ask yourself these negative ‘What If’ questions?
It's important to be on top of what experience, knowledge, skills and any other attributes are required for a position and be willing to admit, at least yourself, where you fall down Kim. Then the job is, as you are pointed out, to highlight your strengths and how these can be applied in the new position. While things might get better in time, it is indeed, again as you've pointed out, to make the changes now. You need to start the ball rolling and the sooner the better. And yes you might fail. It's important to know this and to be prepared for it. It's always a possibility no matter how good you are. The job here is to concentrate on preparing as much as possible so you have the best chance of succeeding.
So profound Kim Araman. I think that hardest thing for most is to just get started. Momentum matters most when you are frozen to the spot. You can pivot, reinvent, reposition, collaborate, influence and recalculate at any time unless you haven't started moving. In that case all you have is dreams and they don't cash at any bank.
I couldn’t agree more, Kim Araman The perspective and mindset we build today shape the future.
Every great success story is filled with moments of doubt and uncertainty. The key is to push through those moments and keep moving towards your goals Kim Araman 😊
Impressive
You are capable of achieving great things, and sometimes, the greatest "what ifs" are the ones that come true Kim Araman
