Hello #LinkedInCommunity! This morning, I shared a detailed data analysis project centered on one of the world’s most popular music groups: 𝗕𝗧𝗦. If you're a fan of 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 📊 or 𝗕𝗧𝗦 🎶 (or both!), dive in and see how data brings their music journey to life. If you're curious about the 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦, I’ve included the steps to 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 & 𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖 using the Spotify 𝗔𝗣𝗜 🔑, 𝙨𝙣𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙙𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 🔍💻 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙬! ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gwN7XAXT #BTS #DataAnalysis #SpotifyAPI #Python #Tableau

While everyone’s only talking about OpenAI’s latest o1 model release, have you heard about what Suno Music is doing? Their new “Covers” feature is an absolute game-changer! Thanks to a demo by @nick.floats, I discovered it now—you simply sing to Suno, add a prompt, and it transforms your voice into a complete song. It’s not just fun; it’s a whole new way to create music. The “Covers” feature is currently in early access beta for all Pro and Premier subscribers. It lets you keep the melody of a song but reimagines it into something entirely fresh. You get 200 free cover song generations, and after that, each new cover costs 10 credits. Some creative ideas: • From Instrumental to Vocal: Add your own lyrics to instrumental tracks and create something unique. • Transform Your Own Audio: Upload a clip of you singing, humming, or playing an instrument and see how “Covers” brings it to life. Producers and singers now have some new firepower to make music on their own but it will make a fair bit of creators really angry. How will the music scene look like in few years? Aside of that it is amazing to see so much innovation happening in the #AI world beyond the big headlines. It is a crazy time to be alive.

🎵 Day 46 of the 100 Days of Code Challenge: Harmonizing Music and Automation! 🎶✨ Today, I embarked on a melodious adventure into the enchanting realm of music and automation, crafting a personalized Spotify playlist straight from the annals of historical Billboard data. Here's a symphony of highlights from my coding crescendo: 🎉 Key Highlights: - Orchestrated a seamless interaction with the Spotify API, conducting harmonious melodies with the Spotipy library. - Invited users to embark on a musical journey through time by prompting them to select a specific year they wish to revisit. - Enchanted the senses by dynamically plucking the top songs from the hallowed pages of that year's Billboard 100 charts. - Composed a private Spotify playlist, each bearing the year of choice as its melodic title, ready to serenade listeners with a nostalgic symphony. - Harmonized automation with creativity by orchestrating the automatic addition of retrieved songs to the newly minted playlist, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience. 🎧 Reflection: This melodic masterpiece seamlessly blends my Python prowess with my passion for music, creating a harmonious fusion of technology and art. The ability to automate the creation of personalized playlists not only showcases the power of Python in streamlining tasks but also evokes a symphony of nostalgia, whisking users away on a nostalgic journey through the melodies of yesteryears. The harmonious union of music and automation exemplifies the transformative potential of technology in enriching our everyday experiences. Excited to continue composing delightful melodies and exploring the endless possibilities of code-driven creativity! 🎻🚀 #100DaysOfCode #MusicAutomation #PythonMagic #CodeSymphony

🎶 Want to build your own personalized music recommender? You're in luck! Community member Igor Gorbenko created one with #Milvus, #Kafka and #PostgreSQL. He shares the method, process, and Jupyter notebook with the code. "The primary resource for our recommendations is the Kaggle Spotify Million Song Dataset, which offers a wealth of data on artists, song titles, and lyrics. While advanced recommendation systems can delve into various parameters such as genre, style, tempo, theme, duration, and release year, the characteristics we’ve selected provide a solid foundation for understanding the core principles of recommendation systems." https://lnkd.in/gQE9Xqeg

Well, for Brook (https://lnkd.in/dfDeUbCx), I need a YouTube Music API, and there is an existing unofficial Python API that's good, but its jargon-filled code makes me not want to use it. So I am making one myself in Go :) GitHub link for the API: https://lnkd.in/d_WwTK32 #go #yt_music #tui #music_player

Introducing my first Go PET-project: Music Service! 🎧 I'm excited to share my first project written in Go—Music Service! This project integrates with the Spotify API to retrieve music track data and includes a structured, scalable architecture. 🔍 What’s Inside? My main goal was to build a clean, modular application that follows best practices. Here’s a glimpse of what the Music Service can do: 🚀 Features: 🎧 Spotify API Integration: Fetch tracks easily from the Spotify API. Perfect for building playlists or discovering new music! 🗄 MySQL Database: All playlists, songs, users, and the relationships between songs and playlists are stored in a MySQL database. 🏗 Layered Architecture: The project follows a clean structure with separate layers for repositories, services, and handlers. This ensures that the business logic, data access, and API handling are decoupled. 🧪 Comprehensive Testing: All handlers and repositories are covered with unit tests to ensure everything works smoothly! 🐳 Docker & Docker Compose: The project can be easily containerized using Docker, with Docker Compose handling multi-container deployment. 🔄 Migrations: I’ve also integrated migration support to handle changes in the database schema easily. You can create, apply, and roll back migrations seamlessly. 🛠 Taskfile Integration: I use Taskfile for automating common tasks like database migrations, running tests, and spinning up the Docker environment. 🛠 Tech Stack: Golang for the backend. MySQL for the database. Spotify API for fetching music data. Docker for containerization. Taskfile for easy automation. This project was a great learning experience, combining API integration, database management, and building a layered architecture. I'm happy with how it turned out, and there's still so much more to explore and improve. 💬 Would love to hear your feedback or suggestions! Feel free to drop a comment or connect if you're interested in collaborating or want to know more. 🔗 You can check out the repo here: https://lnkd.in/d_X5ZW86 #Golang #SpotifyAPI #Docker #GoProject #MusicService #MySQL #BackendDevelopment #PETProject #CleanArchitecture
