Competent trainers do not just tell you the answer; they lead you to it. The easiest option for any trainer is to answer your question straight away, but what takes more effort is asking the trainee some lead-in questions to let them think further about the answer and how they can reach the answer. That way the trainee gets to develop more research and cognitive skills. The more someone searches for something, the harder it becomes for them to forget what it was or how to handle it.

A majority of people's learning comes from experience and practice. This means learning information and developing skills on the job through tacit learning, which we do unconsciously. We can learn formally and informally, whether that be through training courses or conferences, or from everyday experiences such as a conversation with a co-worker. In Systems Thinking, there is rarely ever just one cause. Systems thinking includes surrounding variables and it gives us a broader perspective so we can understand where the problem originates from.
