Last week I had the opportunity to join an exciting "Future of HR" event here in Hamburg —big thanks to CHEFTREFF for the invite to this gathering! It kicked off with a boat tour across the Alster (Leonhard Wenzler & Jan Henri Kalinowski you know that you are putting the bar for events in Hamburg very high :)), before diving into some great discussions at the MOIA office about the Talent Journey—and what a journey it is. Here are a few insights that really stuck with me: The Talent Journey is all about creating meaningful touchpoints at every stage of the candidate and employee experience. From automating repetitive tasks like onboarding processes to freeing up time for personal interactions, the key is to balance efficiency with a human touch. It’s not just about making things faster—it’s about making every interaction count. A data-driven approach is a game-changer. Whether you’re using tools like onboarder, canvas for slack, or analyzing key metrics, the right data helps make smarter, faster decisions. Thanks for those insights Dennis Limani - looking forward to talk more about that in the future 🤝🏽 Getting candidates excited to join your company is a team effort! Collaboration between HR and other departments is essential. Providing best practices, sparring opportunities, and guidance ensures that onboarding is effective both at the company-wide level and within individual teams. A huge shoutout to Annika in der Beek, Folke Christoph Grigo and Benjamin Moehle for their inspiring panel discussion—it’s always great to hear such actionable insights! Im looking forward to implement some of them in our process here at Haiilo. Now, two questions for you: 1️⃣ For candidates: What’s one thing a company has done that made you really excited to join them? 2️⃣ For my HR peers: What events are a must for 2025? Any suggestions for Hamburg, Germany, Europe?
