Fabian Hamilton introduced the Powers of Attorney Bill to the House of Commons this week, inspired by the heartbreaking experiences shared by victim-survivors. These stories highlight the urgent need to address and prevent the misuse of Lasting Power of Attorney. Andrew Bishop and Lucy Taylor have been working with Parliament on this and we're delighted the Bill passed its First Reading without any objections, bringing us closer to correcting this longstanding issue.
