Gold smuggling, phone tapping, solar scam cover-ups, a murder linked to gold smuggling, and allegations against the Chief Minister's political secretary—these are the troubling headlines Malayalis have been waking up to in recent days. It's particularly alarming that a ruling party MLA has come forward with serious accusations against the police department and high-ranking officials. This issue goes beyond mere political interests; it raises a significant concern for public safety and governance. When those tasked with safeguarding lives and upholding law and order become allies of criminal gangs, how can anyone feel safe? Is this unholy nexus between politics and crime turning the state into "God's Own Country" for criminals? Like past scandals, this one might fade with a token investigation. However, the deeply rooted corruption in the state's home department needs more than surface-level fixes. Real change can only come through the power of the people's vote. . . #Kerala #PoliticalCorruption #GovernanceCrisis #CrimeAndPolitics #JusticeForAll

Espionage is a serious crime in every country. Punishment? Death. Kufinish kumalo. It is illegal to obtain classified information about people without their knowledge. It is immoral to collect data on a population for ulterior motives. It is unjust. It is unfair. For a state to use taxpayers' money—their money—to acquire technology just to spy on them and win an election. Let’s be clear: conflict resolution is frustrating. It is annoying. It is draining. But even in the most trying times, ethics must prevail. The right thing must be done—and seen to be done. Yes, it’s tempting, mouth-watering and brilliant. Tempting to use your power to gain an unfair advantage. Mouth-watering to stab someone in the back. Brilliant to spy on people and use that information to destroy your opponent. But it is wrong. It undermines reconciliation. It poisons the waters of conflict resolution. It muddies an already murky situation. Folks, in your day-to-day conflicts, be fair. Be just. Because anything less is a betrayal—to others, and to yourself. #kuriaandcompanyadvocates #conflictresolution

This is mow the second elected MP to be arrested for domestic abuse within a few months. 1. Minister for Agriculture 2. Minister for Petroleum Not forgetting the Commissioner of Police has allegations of sexual abuse against him and the victim has finally ended her silence to seek justice. How do we, the voters and citizens, file a collective complaint to the Ombudsman Commission and under what specific clauses? Is there anything specific relating to Code of Conduct and violent behaviour? I understand they would need to investigate each complaint. But is there a certain number of complaints for a matter before police where the leader is suspended? I don't know, I'm researching. But I'm sure we can do more. Something has to change, how or where do we amend laws to ensure people like this never re-enter politics besides only after a successful conviction. Papua New Guinea.. I am mad as hell!!!! Are you???!! We cannot accept excuses anymore from the government. Perpetrators of ALL forms of sexual and domestic violence MUST BE ARRESTED & REMOVED FROM PUBLIC OFFICE. I won my case - it is not impossible. I ended one aspiring politicians hopes, he doesnt deserve to be NCD Governor. Not with a history of violence Now with each of these, we need to win each one and strengthen processes and enforcement of our laws around them. It is up to us to build a safer future for our women and girls. If we don't stand up now for change, who will? #wonderwomandiaries❤️
