To launch Viddy Studio we’re using the framework laid out in Jeff Walker’s book “Launch.” Specifically the Seed Launch. Before reading the book I wasn’t sure how we would actually get the word out, but he breaks it down so clearly that it made it feel possible and fun. One of the first things he recommends is to build up a list so you can send out emails. To do this we’re using beehiiv. If you have a product you’re trying to launch, this book is a game changer. I can’t recommend it enough and it’s been recommended to me by people who have used it to make tens of millions from their launches over the years. p.s if you want to see how we do this launch then you can see our newsletter here: https://lnkd.in/ghzb_sQb

When you're a creator, play isn't a luxury — it's what you must do most. That's why you're called a creator. Listen to the word. Creator. What does the word say you do? You create. 👉 Here's what they know that most business people don't: ‘Playing’ means giving yourself permission to get lost in the work. Ever notice how artists never schedule "innovation time" or hold "creativity brainstorms"? Instead, they create environments where magic can happen naturally. When we immerse ourselves in play, we create a space where creativity thrives. It’s about allowing yourself the freedom to explore without a clear destination. Our recently released mini-book, Permission To Play, dives deep into how to create an environment of creativity. You'll learn how to find your business “bandmates” and get the Jam Session Framework we Pirates use for our weekly calls. It’s lot of fun, combined with practical steps to create sessions that encourage experimentation and collaborative creation. 👉 Link to the mini-book in the comments!

One of the questions I get the most is, 'What does your company do?' Since the inception of our company three years ago, we have been intentionally vague and purposefully quiet as it pertained to the type of work our company was doing - mostly because we weren't sure yet. We knew it was going to be in the education space and we knew it was going to be a technology company, but that's about it. Often, the work we were doing 'to bootstrap' was misconstrued as 'the work of our company.' This was ok, we often didn't correct people. One of the best pieces of advice I got when I started this company was from an experienced entrepreneur. It was simple advice. He said, 'be quiet, listen to the market, and go solve it's problem.' He went on to explain that this could take years before you 'hear' the market. For 2 1/2 years, we listened, and we lived in a constant state of iteration, creating a malleable vision, drafting a basic solution framework, and building a loose concept-based solution architecture. The hard part was that while you're listening, your not selling, which means you're not making money. The pressure grows to just build something and go sell it - but we didn't...we just kept listening. We tried to keep constant and strong pressure on the pulse of the market and move with it's demands and build accordingly. This was a hard process; it was bumpy, but necessary. And now after three years, we have landed. The market spoke and we heard. So what does our company do? Great question. WATCH HERE BY CLICKING ON THE VIMEO LINK BELOW!

You’re not always going to feel inspired to post. A lot of business owners like you rely on inspiration. But here’s the problem: inspiration isn’t reliable. You won’t always feel on top of things. Whether it’s travel, stress, or life’s challenges. Some days, your energy is drained. Other days, your schedule is packed. But if you want consistency, you can’t rely on inspiration Here’s how you canstay consistent, even on tough days: 1/ Use your Notes app: ↳ Whenever you have a content idea, drop it there. 2/ Create a swipe file: ↳ Save screenshots of posts, hooks, or ideas you like. 3/ Repurpose old content: ↳ Revisit what’s worked well and give it a fresh spin. Every post doesn’t have to be groundbreaking. Just show up, post, even when it’s tough. You’ll be surprised how easy it gets. Repost ♻️ to help others stay consistent P.S. How long have you managed to stay consistent?

We are all creators🧠 Your ideas are of incredible value☄️ Research shows that a new idea that you have only lasts for about 40 seconds in short-term memory and then it’s gone. Pro Tip- begin writing down your ideas and store them somewhere. Perhaps you have ideas for an account, a new way to prospect, an idea for a process change, content for a team meeting, a new business idea…the list goes on. I use my Notes app in my phone and it’s titled “Downloads”. In that moment, pause and write it down. You won’t regret it. Go back to the list to be reinspired or to take action 💯
