Had a head scratcher today. Refresh failed due to a duplicate value. The relationship was between two text columns. Troubleshooting was not easy because Power Query kept telling me there were no duplicates. Turns out the duplicate was real, but was in upper rather than lower case. I thought maybe the report was corrupt, so tried a new file and was able to reproduce the problem, so sharing here. Reason number 3,486 that relationships between text columns are a bad idea. #powerbi #powerquery #datamodeling #relationshipsarehard
