While the 1996 classic depicted storm-chasing with rudimentary tech, today's advancements in radar, computer modeling, and 3D mapping have drastically improved our understanding and forecasting of tornadoes. 🌩️ In the sequel movie, Twisters, scientists are shown leveraging these innovations. Although the idea of disrupting a tornado remains out of reach, the real progress in warning systems and predictive modeling has significantly enhanced public safety. Read more about the improvements below. 🌪️🔍 #TornadoScience #Innovation #WeatherTech #Twisters2024

Enjoy this longish, level-headed look at the history of AGI research and what it's taken — and given back — to our own understanding of the human mind. An interesting read from sa. This is an area I am continuously fascinated thanx to my early mentors in radars. While keeping my sceptic cap on, I cannot but help to wonder the possible opportunities to increase the quality of human life https://lnkd.in/gmCDy3sX
