Being a little OCD has its perks. Whether it’s timing dog walks, measuring coffee to the gram, or tracking every ounce of fluid my car uses, I’ve built systems that ensure everything has its place—and that mindset extends to my work. I’m data-driven, passionate about marketing, and in love with dashboards, charts, and optimization. My drumming experience plays a key role here: timing, staying in the pocket, and knowing when to add a tasteful fill are the same skills I bring to the table in the workplace. Last month, my journey at Chief came to an end as I, along with some extremely talented teammates, was affected by a recent organizational restructure.Though I'm feeling mixed emotions, the strongest ones are gratitude and pride. I grew immensely as a researcher and UX leader during my time at Chief, and the work I'm especially proud of includes: 🌟 Strategic mixed-methods research to inform Core 3.0, where my work identified key opportunities to iterate on the flagship offering (e.g., adopting a peer advisory model, improving group composition) that resulted in significantly increased member satisfaction 🌟 Championing for the addition of a gold-standard Leadership Assessment into a new Core Premium offering, and owning the partnership with Hogan Assessments, a massive value driver for both Members and Guides 🌟 Pilot testing, iterating on, and scaling two brand-new offerings: Executive Coaching and Executive Education, which are both now available as distinct membership package options I'm beyond grateful to the many colleagues, friends, Members, and Guides who I had the chance to learn from at Chief --- and, I’m so excited for what comes next! I'm eager to find new opportunities where I can continue to grow and make an impact through: 🌟 Strategic user research to inform business-level decisions (I love pilot testing new experiences, and taking big swings to improve existing products!) 🌟 Helping organizations level up their user sentiment and outcomes strategies (CSAT, onboarding/renewal surveys, ROI, outcomes measurement, and more!) 🌟 Bridging user research with my behavioral science background to influence product, sales, and operational roadmaps (I thrive in ambiguous problem spaces and helping cross-functional teams tackle user pain points!) Big news—I'm embarking on a new chapter in my career journey! While I've treasured my time at Cuyamaca College and soaked up every moment in the vibrant California Community College setting, recent developments have nudged me towards change. Budget constraints mean my role will wrap up at the end of June. I'm feeling a mix of emotions about this transition. Saying goodbye to Cuyamaca, our incredible students, and the tight-knit community here in Ranch San Diego/East County isn't easy. My supervisor is fully on board with me sharing this news publicly and even encouraged me to reach out to you all for potential opportunities. So here I am, putting the word out! As someone deeply passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, the thought of continuing this meaningful work elsewhere excites me. But I won't lie—I'll miss my Cuyamaca family dearly.
