A Look Ahead at the M&A Landscape This week I had the honor of speaking on a panel at the KPMG US M&A Conference in Menlo Park on the emergence of AI and how companies are approaching this new world of both opportunities and challenges. I was joined by other esteemed colleagues in tech such as Surojit Chatterjee, Founder and CEO Ema Unlimited and Amit Sangani, Sr. Director of Engineering Meta. We closed the day with a panel with some of the leading CFOs in the Valley on how they evaluate and measure M&A as a strategic lever for their company, including my amazing CFO Gina Mastantuono at ServiceNow and Dan Durn CFO Adobe. The headline? With a new administration and the disruption of AI, this is going to be a very active two years with respect to M&A. Be looking for the right opportunities for growth in the trade-offs in "to buy or to build" and carefully carefully evaluating your strategies to extract the value for your organization. The tech has arrived and AI will be play a key role in both streamlining due diligence and creating new value streams for companies that are ready to move.
