Here's a thought I've been toying with - what if we at Keenan Reid partnered with the big consulting firms? Here's the problem: Big firms don't do 'small' budget work. They walk away when it's time to implement because they can't leave a single consultant behind to guide the work or pass on additional smaller projects. And when they leave, they lose touch with the day-to-day happenings and potential opportunities. But what if they didn't have to? What if we stepped in and placed an independent consultant to do the work and kept the big firm's relationship manager in the loop? We’d essentially be feeding them leads or at least facilitating more informed check-ins with the client so they’re ready when the next big project comes up. Of course, we'd keep everything above board and make sure the client is aware of the arrangement. So, what do you think? Could this work, or am I off the mark? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Let’s talk in the comments. 👩💻

Amplify your core strengths as a consultant (make a real impact for your clients and your career) We all know how to run. Yet a small percentage of us runs continuously for better health. We all know how to talk. Yet a small percentage of us share our ideas freely and communicate openly, to make a meaningful impact. This is the reality for many consultants. We possess a broad range of skills, yet how often do we truly leverage them to deliver concrete value to our clients? Too often, our expertise remains underutilized, dispersed across various tasks without a clear focus. Consider the consultant who excels in strategic planning but spends most of their time on administrative tasks. Or the expert in data analysis who rarely gets to dive deep into the numbers because they are overloaded with meetings. These scenarios are all too common, leading to frustration and a sense of unfulfilled potential. The solution? Narrowing our focus and honing in on our core strengths. By identifying and concentrating on the areas where our expertise is the boldest, we can provide unparalleled value to our clients. This means saying NO to tasks that dilute our impact and yes to opportunities that allow us to excel. Imagine the difference it would make if every consultant could fully utilize their unique skills. We would not only enhance our own professional satisfaction but also drive significant growth and improvement for our clients. Let’s cherish and harness the power of our authentic skills. Focus on what you do best and share that expertise with the world. 📝How do you promote authenticity? If you found this post useful, like 💜 or repost ♻️ to help others grow.
