Keir Gumbs’ Post

Trust and ethics are part of what makes Edward Jones special. Last week Edward Jones hosted its 24th Compliance Symposium, which brings together financial advisors, client support team members, and home office associates across the firm to focus on our culture of compliance. We had more than 600+ associates join us to talk about leading with courage. Highlights include a fireside chat with our CCO, Jennifer Grego and industry experts from within and outside of the firm shared the latest impacts to our regulatory environment and how our culture of compliance enables the behaviors needed to lead effectively. Kristin Johnson, Lena Haas and I had the pleasure of closing the event, reflecting on ethics, integrity and compliance being at the heart of everything we do. With trust as the cornerstone of our client relationships, Lena highlighted the importance of ethical conduct as we evolve our business to better serve our clients. Kristin emphasized that while transformation brings change, our core values – integrity and ethical leadership - remain non-negotiable. Together, we’ll continue leading with courage, partnering across teams, and delivering greater value for our clients.
