🚀 In today’s densified networks, improving performance and user experience is more important than ever. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a key player in addressing these challenges for both LTE and 5G networks. Imagine the efficiencies gained by automatically managing radio frequency bands and traffic. By integrating AI into the baseband, Ericsson is optimizing Radio Access Networks (RAN) to enable real-time management with feedback loops of less than 10 milliseconds. Ulf Rydin, Head of Product Area 4G RAN at Ericsson, notes, “Our new AI capabilities allow service providers to continuously enhance network performance and deliver an optimal user experience. This advancement enables increased 5G coverage and improved LTE performance—all through a straightforward software upgrade.” These AI algorithms analyze traffic data in real time, ensuring seamless user experiences without needing additional hardware or site visits. What challenges have you encountered in network performance, and how do you see AI playing a role in overcoming them? #AI #5G #TeamEricsson #RAN #Telecommunications #Innovation #UserExperience
