Greetings from Sicily!
Sorry, had to rub it in a tad.
Down to business…a client of mine is on the lookout for a Programmatic Manager. This is an end-to-end role so may not suit an Account Manager or Trafficker or Analyst from a specific Agency-based role.
It’s client-side, healthy budget, lots of challenges.
Exciting stuff: We’ve been working on some very cool tracking and attribution tech lead by yours truly. We’re going to have a setup that I know for fact other firms are currently dreaming of, and big attribution platforms can’t cater for (I checked).
Reality: It’s been tough. Lots of factors have been and are not in our favour. More on that if you’re interested but this isn’t a role you can coast along in.
Scope: We’re onboarding a top tier DSP and DMP, so you’d be getting to grips with that from day one alongside the team in-house and a managed service setup for a short period but ultimately, you’d own this moving forward.
From personal experience, I’d say this would suit someone who is well into their tech and getting into the detail but can whip up some creative ideas also. You’d be happy to do the less exciting bits (in my opinion at least) like campaign build and trafficking while keen on pushing the boundaries, getting the most out of a platform and can dream up ideas of how we can utilise functionality-possibly in ways other than the norm.
I for one ask hundreds of questions but this firm needs that. We need to question everything to move the needle as we’re in a super-competitive industry with some limitations and dated practices. Top tier Execs, a plan, and well-established brands. What more could you want?
This is a full-time role with two days in Liverpool St, London. Possibly more flex for the right person. Reporting to the Head of Acquisition. £55-70k.
No agencies-recruitment or service. Thank you.
